      Hi all

When I use Shift-7 (weapon view) to view bombs getting to target, I always got a flashing screen. This issue did not occur in BMS 4.32 but happened in BMS 4.33 U1, U2, U3. It ONLY happened with Bombs (Dump bombs, laser bombs, JDAM bombs). I have tested several graphics setting, both in game and graphic driver but it was no use at all, this problem still remains. Anybody can help???

Other guys got the same issue and discuss it in the General Discussion, here the link:

        Hello,

Just want to add my system with the flashing weapon view issue:
Windows 10 Pro x64, Intel Core i7 4770k, Nvidia Gefore GTX 760, driver version 378.66. The flashing is worse with older drivers.
I tested and found the cause is nothing to do with Data files. It’s from the core code (File FalconBMS.EXE)

        Cheers,

Forcing the exe which expects a structured dataset to work with an older dataset structure that cant handle it doesn’t prove that it’s a core exe bug. Not at all. Maybe the result seems obvious but its not proof.

Hello Arty, thanks; do you have any idea of how to get rid of this weapon camera flashing issue?

I do not have the nVidia control panel under the eyes … but IIRC, there is a setting about “resolution scaling” or something like this. Try disabling it.

Yes. Dont use that camera. Or compromise with the flashing till the devs find a solution.
                How essential is its use?
                For me not at all.
Maybe i cant understand the reason or value of it. I believe its cosmetic mostly…

OK thanks a lot, It’s called “DSR-Factors” in the nVidia control panel. I always disable it but the issue still exists…

Hmmm im kinda interested here as formerly i was in the bomb squad in my wing and never used weapons camera despite cosmetic issues. So how does this camera helps or is necessary?

I think he’s entitled to having a personal preference?

For sure. No one is questionning this.
My question is clearly on learning if there is something that might teach us to get better. New perspectives oil up our rusty minds. Specialy for old farts like me.

Watching where your bombs actually hit is useful when trying to figure out burst altitudes, rippling, etc. It’s what I do in the training TEs I’ve setup for myself.

You have to press shift 7 then immediately press Zero
                              That’s all
