I cant seem to find the right file I see the cam files but I cant ever seem to find my package number in MP but I fly on a server so maybe its because they are not saving it when i need it ?? Any thoughts ??
-
WDP can only find packages that are saved onto your comp … save off the mission in multi play, then look for the package number - hope this helps.

Aww ok thanks !!!

I don’t understand how this would work off of a multiplayer server. It seems to me you should be able to copy the campaign file off the server, WPD extracts the ATO, you select the flight you want to fly, load PPTs and Lines, and thens save those back to your own callsign.ini. But I am not sure because Falcas’s somewhat dated videos talk about not seeing the PPTs and Lines until you are in the 3D cockpit (when in a multiplayer campaign) and supposedly there’s a three minute timer you have to start in WPD and if you aren’t in 3D before the 3 minute deadline expires, you won’t see the PPTs and Lines.

Does the save and sharing of the datacard files, created by the flight lead not account for this? He creates the ‘master’, shares it via email so that clients can load the datacard locally for editing?

I think it is common practice for the “mission” and all associated files to be issued and put into the sim before everyone joins the flight - may be 24hrs before - that way everyone can study it and make sure their WDP has the correct parameters set for the mission type - offsets - Radios - gun funnel width - and all that good stuff
-
I’ve got most of it figured out I think except when I get in pit the steer point and route are loaded on hsd but I still have to enter radio freq. also the threats are not displayed on hsd. Any thoughts an what I may be doing wrong?
-
if you can’t see the “threats” (I assume you mean PPT’s ? SA2 and AAA and all that bad stuff?) it means they have not been saved to your DTC, you need to save your DTC IF you can see the PPT’s on the 2d map then you will see them on your HSD.
If you know the lat long of the PPT’s you can type them into the WDP … but that’s a pain.
Radio Frequencies SHOULD be already loaded into your DTC check in WDP … see if they are blank … if they are all blank just type them into RADIO page in DCT on WDP.
I hope I read your question correctly ??

The threat circles don’t show on the hsd. They are on the 2d map though. The radio frequencies are in the WDP but don’t load in pit. I’ve surely got to be something wrong. Thank you very much for your replies!

Well, I don’t get to see the PPT’s in the 2D and 3D world, can somebody help me with that ?

on the 2D map right click on an a part of the map that doesn’t have any thing on it i.e. no units or bridges etc from the pop up menu near the bottom of the list select pre planned threat point - click it - a diamond will appear right click on the diamond - select threat type from list - click assign - you should then see the threat circle around that numbered ppt - save DTC - when you get in the jet the circle will show on your HSD

Thank you very much, but I was talking about the fact that I don’t succeed to get everything from the WDP into the game
-
OK - in that case your WDP is not “pointing” at your BMS install - in WDP go to “Settings” and check all the destinations are correct - use brows option also check your “BUILD” number under Falcon location if you are using 4.33U3 the build should read 4.33.16068
I am sure your problem lies in the settings option destinations ;0)

Load your saved campaign file. If it is a online MP flight, you need to save the campaign after you have joined the game.
After you have created all the PPTs and Lines in WDP don’t forget to save the DTC.
When this is done, return to BMS 2D UI map. There you need to load the DTC into BMS. After closing the DTC screen the PPTs and lines Are shown on the map.
And they will be visible on the HSD.Gr Falcas
