Headset Mic not working in any program

Hi guys I’m using win 7 professional and I lost control of my microphone, entering Voice Attack the mic works for about 20 seconds and then stops. In win speech program it works about the same amount of time. With VAC it does not work at all and gives a message “SAPI failed to initialize” my turtle beach headset has worked perfectly since plug in for over a year and a half anyone have any ideas? Wondering if there was some kinda window update that screwed things up? I tried mother board sound plug in(s) and sound card plug in(s). Speaker work fine no problems. Lastest sound card driver installed anybody having the same problem?

Throw it away.
I recently lost the mic in my headset also. Wasted so much time with it being unreliable.

Hey Shadow, Headset is good no problem with it on other computer, BMS just operates extremely slow so I don’t use it for BMS, using my 2nd computer anybody having the same experience?
