Alright here it goes been trying to install this stuff to do carrier ops in an f18 after watching all the videos on it. Just one problem, I load the game it goes into BMS Korea operation…. dont know where or how to get to the F 18 option. I really am starting to get frustrated because I’ve searched youtube here and other places trying to get answers. Im an idiot probably for asking these questions… but im so frustrated I figured id come straight to the source. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks for the help.

Launch BMS. At the top choose “Tactical Engagement”. In the list of training missions, near the bottom, are 2 or 3 for Carrier Ops …. Day Landing, Night Landing and Take Off iirc. That’s the easiest place to start.

You can create or add a carrier group and an F/A-18 squadron to a TE. Not all campaigns have Carriers ‘on station’ on day 1. Once a Carrier group arrives on station in a campaign, simply select flights/missions from the squadrons assigned to the carrier.

There is a carrier in only two of the campaign files.

Rolling Fire(middle campaign) has the Vinson coming in at 50hrs as a reinforcement and has F18’s.

Iron Fortress(bottom campaign) has the Vinson at the start and has F18’s.

Tiger Spirit(top campaign) has no carrier in it.

Make sure the ‘Fly F16s only’ option isn’t enabled in the Config Editor else you’ll not see the other types frag listings.
