Squadron patches file location

I would appreciate some help…I am looking for the file that has the various squadrons’ insignia patches.

They are located in your C:\Falcon BMS 4.33 U2\Data\Art\resource folder. The patches.idx file.

Thanks for the responses. What I’m trying to do is put the VFA-113 patch, which I can use in Korea via Mission Commander and edit an existing squadron, into the Balkans. Cloud9, before I saw your post I put the 4.33 patch.idx into Balkans resource folder. It made BMS crash. Thankfully,when I reversed the process BMS worked(Whew!). I assume it’s the coding issue described in the tutorial?
Anyway, before I get myself in real trouble, I think I’ll buy a cloth patch someone, get Photoshop, and proceed as in the tutorial!
Update:Speaking of the tutorial, it speaks of putting the patch into 4.32… Now, would that be 4.33?

Cloud9, before I saw your post I put the 4.33 patch.idx into Balkans resource folder. It made BMS crash.

The patches are contained in the patch.idx, but there are several other files that have to be ported over into an Add-on Theater install. The patches.irc and the patches.rsc have to go along with the patches.idx into the resource folder.

Then the imageids.id file from the Art\patches folder needs to also be moved over too.

BTW, you don’t have to buy patches, unless you want to.
