Hello everybody,

I started the Mitsubishi F-2A and B for Falcon BMS.

It will have virtual cockpit, and a full custom weapon pack.

LICENSE :

I hereby declare this model to be fully made by my hand, every vertex or polygon was made by myself, I never used any 3D exterior material to build this F-2.

Third parties are not eligible to request this model to be used in their theater, unless the F-2 is a part of an official BMS release.

Thank you biker,

You see, I had a professional 3D modeler training, for this aspect, I think it will be ok, and, as I spent long periods in Japan, I got almost everything of what is publically available on this bird…

I love the F-2, I really want to be the first one to make a full Viper Zero mod for Falcon BMS !

The only aspect for which I will need help is for implementing systems into the virtual cockpit, with he available F-16 avionics…

Well, not sure. Step by step. I first want to make both F-2A and B, then, if I go on, I will make the Mitsubishi F-1. (I only make JASDF birds because it has something personnal, you see)… For the rest, not sure.

The anniversary schemes? Those will be difficult. I searched all over the net for high-resolution pictures of those schemes and could not find anything useful….Japanese websites don’t appear to like high-resolution images…

Yeah. The first picture is a nice resolution, but the deflected rudder and angle of the picture makes it impossible to isolate the designs from the tail. The sunburst background is easy enough to create from scratch, but the stylized 5, the panther, and the ‘anniversary’ text I can’t create from scratch–I use the original as a template to create the graphic (like tracing a drawing) but that only works with a hi-res, straight on picture. The second picture is the perfect angle, but the resolution is too small.

Just an idea, can you find decals online of some scale model for the F-2 ? that was an option when i was figuring out how to do some special schemes.

Yes, but nothing with a high enough resolution. I actually scanned my 1:48 F-2 decals when making my F-2 skin but the quality still wasn’t quite good enough.

Good to know, because i wanted to draw my own special stuff on paper and then scan them and use them in photoshop. I don’t know if i will find more than what you guys found online, but i will look around for special paints in high resolution for the F-2A.
