Multi screen

And thats what i talk about, i play some games at 1920x1080 and nvidia won’t duplicate it. Ati drivers are still not so good. I have ati 6870 in my second computer and new drivers are still not good as nvidia when it comes to multimonitor use. (IMHO)
Well as I referenced earlier in this thread, I would never recommend anyone to an ATI product. I’ve had more problems with their drivers and games then their hardware, even, and I’ve never had catastrophic hardware failures with Nvidia cards like I have with the ATI ones.
But the software can do everything it needs to for a multi-monitor configuration.

how would i go about setting up a 2 monitor system? up and down config, lower fixed on the cockpit, never changes, and upper main does everything else? is that possible? or even useful?
i’m just thinking, i already have 2 monitors (24" computer monitor and 52" 1080p TV) and want to see if i can configure something useful without buying extra hardware. thx
UPDATE
i just noticed in hardware setting there is an option for ‘cockpit display to external windows’ i’m guessing that’s a clue. still not sure how i would use it.

i have two 4k resolutin screens. how do i do what you did, but only with two monitors?/

If you are referring to Steveh’s post, you cant set one monitor to display the cockpit and another to display a different view. BMS does not have as much control over views as say FSX does.
What you can do however, is map specific displays to a second monitor - such as the MFD screens, the RWR, DED and so on - you can have them displayed on a separate monitor using BMS’ built in cockpit display extraction.

nope, i just want an extended view to the left side (left screen) how do i go about that?
-
Enable 2 screens and Look left.
Sorry for the dumb answer but ……

I’m trying to convince my wife we need to have 3 monitors but I fail badly when I start mentioning “situation awareness will be greatly enhanced”……I kind of ramble on a bit then she starts talking about the weather.
