FMAP size?

So far, every FMAP I’ve seen has been 59x59. Is this always true? The file contains a header that states its dimensions, so presumably it could have some other size. In particular, is it going to be bigger for theaters with a larger map? I’m doing some work related to WeatherGen, and I want to be able to correctly handle translations between “weather space” and distances for larger theaters.
