      Hy Guys im here again,
I would like try use the DX input https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/content.php?153-DirectX-Shifting-Facility
      simply without use TARGET Programming

      This is my device sorting:
      “Joystick - HOTAS Warthog” (0 to 31)
      “Throttle - HOTAS Warthog” (32 to 63)
      “Thrustmaster Combined”
      “Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals”

Ive put in “Falcon BMS.cfg” the 256 input about the shift layer ( set g_nHotasPinkyShiftMagnitude 256 )
I use the BMS-Full.key (as default i dont touch anything here ) inside that we’ve the two command string about the pinky ive check it
      SimHotasPinkyShift 2 -1 -2 0 0x0 -1
      SimHotasPinkyShift 258 -1 -2 0 0x0 -1

Witout pinky press i get the correct DX for example
i press weapon relaese and i get the correct BMS DX 1 weapons release
but if press and hold pinky (I should get Reset Trim)… instead I get again the weapon release BMS DX 1

Ive try to add also the shiffed time delay sintx in
      Falcon BMS.cfg

set g_nHotasShiftQuickPressTimeLimit 300 (ive try with 300 millisends)

But nothing same as above 😞

I dont understand what i miss… or my error

      Thanx

Does SimHotasPinkyShift show up 3 times in your .key file?

Make sure you’re asssiging the call back to the proper button. Second, you can not have two dual entires in the keyfile. If there are two, the first one gets ignored and only the second one is implemeted. So for the code u listed above the direct x shifting would only work if u pressed button 258. Try removing the second line and the shift state should be button your joystick button 3. Which should be the button behind the paddle.

That’s not true. The SimHotasPinkyShift needs to occur three times in your key file (assuming DX button activation) to function.

            1. Keyboard key entry (no key assigned).
            2. DX button entry for press.
            3. DX button entry (at the elevated number) to register a release.

Thanx to all for the reply…
              Ive solved…
the mistake I made was that I felt the controls in the setup instead of entering the 3D world ahhahahaha in the 3D world works all.
there was no problem in the .key
In the setup you do not see the secondary buttons when using the shift … you see only the primary buttons
but in 3D world work perfet

              🆒

Have a nice day and thanx again
