      Hello Forum.

I know that the left AP switch (STRG SEL) can be engaged to follow the steer points automatically when the TFR is operating. (steer point in auto in DED)

      I’ve seen it in videos.

But, when I engage the TFR, the STRG SEL switch pops up into the centre position.

The TFR is operating perfectly, I just can’t get the STRG SEL switch to remain down to follow steer points.

The AP is working properly when the TFR is not in use.

What am I forgetting to do please?

      Thanks,

      Bayonet.

What TFR mode did you engage? I think from memory LPI and VLC has no turn capability. Try NORM mode.

Good memory Tom, and to back you up …“Due to limited turning flight capability in LPI and VLC modes, steering and heading select functions of auto TF are disabled”.
