Easy key layouts

hy guys i have been on dcs for while when i find BMS f16.
its truly real time simulater.
i need some help with key layouts as i find it so hard to fire a wepon. actually havent fired anything so far
does any body have a really simple key layout to perform all major tasks

Check the docs folder in your install, you can find keyboard layouts and a lot of other must read documents in there.

Go to Setup > Controllers > Advanced and scroll down to Flight Stick (it’s about 60% of the way down in the Default map) and you will see most of the targeting and fire keys/buttons/commands there. You are particularly looking for:

STICK: WEAPON RELEASE (Pickle) [For dropping bombs and firing missiles.]
STICK: FIRST TRIGGER DETENT [Fires the laser.]
STICK: SECOND TRIGGER DETENT [Guns, guns, guns!]

The other big – used all the time – grouping is higher up in TQS section. Give that a study.

What do you mean by a ‘normal one’?

i get used to it now only problem left if i cant zooom in or out for TGP
how can i do that

You first need to SOI the TGP with DMS DOWN. Do so by pressing Ctrl+ End. To zoom in press Alt+ F4. Zoom out with Alt+ F3. Lock on with TMS UP which is Shift + Home.

I suggest learning the keyfiles by heart. As our fellow simers/simmers said, you can find the layout in the docs folder of your bms installation or right here:
