Mmm don’t have a quick answer to that.
I suppose it did work before. That said, I have to assume .Net is installed on your system.

Only simple thing you can do is delete the setup.ini file and try again

Never had this issue. Will try again. Previous version just came to life as always and all versions before that?
Got WDP, MC and WC working on my gamer (WIN11) But my office rig (WIN10) still no joy? Same with MC and WDP

Coding and testing is done on Win10, So that can’t be the issue.

Maybe have a look at your EventViewer (Application) to get some info about the crash?!

I used WC to edit the FMAP file of my mission.
During the start of the mission i noticed the weather i configured.
About an hour later i came back to the same area and weather was clear, not as supposed to be.

After the mission i looked at the FMAP file and it was empty (all tabs).

“maps auto update” is unchecked in setup.

What am i missing here ?

Any help will be appreciated

strange… Do try again and watch more closely (can use time compression)… I don’t think I ever saw something like this.

Don’t think that this have and connection to Weather Commander, tho… more some general BMS behavior … but again, never seen it myself

1 hour is about time where maps would be changed (exactly 57min), but IF “Map auto update” would be checked… of course need saving weather with “Save wth”

I continue to check the WX problem.

What i found that the area i edited in s.korea is moving constantly, it even goes to n. korea.

Aaaah. Mate… that’s not bug, - it is a feature. In BMS , weather is
“moving” (since it was implemented so, … 4.3x… can’t remember)… but yeah.
Weather is moving in some “general” direction of the wind… that you can see/check with WC also under wind tab (set wind).

Buuuut… something is also very wrong here… just opened original my autoupdate map … and map from camapign save … see this.

This is original 1-13-00.

And this is campaign save 1-13-50.

Something is wrong here with wind in BMS (not in WC)… few more tests… then tech. support

Did not new that and actually it a great feature.

I now have to make several WX areas over the map and it will dynamically changed.
This sim is never stops to surprise me with its realism.

Yes, that was idea behind it , so we can have some “dynamics” in weather … so it not static for hour(s) -… as also in reality cold/warm front is moving in some “general” direction.

Well… yes. … I mean it is not exactly “real” as whole weather map is just “circling” form one end of the map to another… depends on some “general” wind direction…
But it gives some sense of immersion - it is not a static picture…
So not real …, but more immersive , would be choice of words here.

But as you can see from my 2 pictures above , it seems something has bricked with wind map, it shouldn’t look like that “mechanical”, even on campaign save… bah… not big deal , but still… looks wrong.

OK,… it seems that Weather Commander have a problem with Wind , Visibility , Cloud Size, …
Any fmap that I open has this “Mechanical” picture on this tabs… F4wx created or original KTO ones… all have problems with those tabs.
Can you check, M8, when have time.
