I have the same problem with my Cougar. I shut down my computer and then turn off the terminal strip that supplies power to the computer. This turns off power to the USB ports. This apparently cause the cougar to shut down. When I turn the computer on the cougar does not reconnect and I have to pull the USB plug to the cougar and plug it back in and then everything is fine. I also have to recalibrate the cougar.
That might be your problem

Pressure Pulse When Bomb Explodes
Years ago when I flew Falcon 4 I always enjoyed watching the pressure pulse radiate from the bomb impact just like you would see in a real video of a bomb impact. Would it be possible to add that feature in a future update?

RE: Falcon 4.0: Coding the Key Files
Update: I no longer turn off my computer or the the terminal strip that powers it. I now put my computer in sleep mode and just click on the mouse to wake it up. I don’t have to restart the joy stick or recalibrate it. Everything is ready to go flying. @chopper27

RE: RNoAF RWR Power on
That should be the TWA (Threat Warning AUX panel) next to the CMDS panel. The lower right square switch supplies power to the RWR.
