RE: Fly-By External View
@SoBad
My thoughts are similar. I have never been a fan of the “catch back up” portion. In addition, I seldom use exterior views because of the sound adjustment needed when returning to the cockpit. However, the urge for a fly-by arises periodically. I activate it via VoiceAttack. My VA is programmed to toggle the fly-by view, pause six seconds, then toggle the 3 key to return to the 3D cockpit. Thus, no more “catch back up” portion. Like you I wish the fly-by portion could be extended a bit.

RE: Manual Calibration
That is correct.
When a major version of BMS is released (e.g., 4.35 to 4.36), I setup my Cougar following the instructions in the BMS Device Setup Guide. In my case I use the Cougar_DX.tmj file and on occasion forget to add USE HWSTARTUP (EMULATION_ON, AXIS_MODE_USER, CALIBRATION_MANUAL).
I made it a note in my personal installation checklist. Otherwise, the command “disappears”, and I have to relearn the tip!

RE: Fish's Voice Attack for BMS...
I found a solution to my question. It resolved all of the acronym-related commands except the two for the EPU pin. A bit more persistence will likely payoff.
Perhaps these instructions will help somebody in the future. The following works in VA version 1.8.9:
Open VA
Click on the wrench icon (bottom right)
Click on the Recognition tab, then click the Utilities box (upper right corner)
Select Add/Remove Dictionary Words
Select Add a New Word (also applies to expressions)
Type the word or expression (in my case, I typed Request Q F E, obviously the phrase must match a phrase in the Command line of the VA profile), select Next
Check Record a Pronunciation Upon Finish, click Finish
Click Record button and speak the word or expression
Click FinishAfter testing it repeatedly (with mixed results) in the VA main screen, I went to the Recognition table and reduced the Minimum Confidence Level in increments until the spoken phrase worked every time.

Page: 497
Original sentence: When Impact or attack azimuth is selected for JDAMs or WCMDs, a LAR2 will appear on the HUD pp.
Suggestion or correction: What is intended by pp? Consider replacing it with the word pages, deleting it, or clarifying it. PP is not in the glossary.Page: 497
Original sentence: The LAR2 upper tick will mark the minimum release range which will allow the bomb to follow the attack azimuth on the way to the target.
Suggestion or correction: Confirm minimum is correct. Should it be changed to maximum?Page: 497
Original sentence: Release above that range will force the bomb to give up the attack azimuth and fly directly to the target
Corrected sentence: Release … target. Add period.Page: 500, SPICE LAR2 Scale figure
Original sentence: LAR2 [small font 2] Scale
Corrected sentence: LAR2 ScalePages: 601 to 609
Suggestion or correction: Locations of bold-face text vary throughout the section. Consider reformatting to make it consistent. (Examples – On pages 601 to 607 and 609, acronyms in the left-most column are bolded, but acronyms in the third column are not. On page 608, all text is bolded.) -

@vyrtuoz Thanks for the winter sale opportunity; I purchased the standard version.
I’m pleased to find the downloadable add-on, KTO AIP 434 for Tacview v2.1.0, works with 4.35.3.

[not VR] HMCS Alignment Sensitivity
I’ve scratched my head in silence for a long time on this, so I’ll finally ask –
HMCS alignment for AZ/EL and ROLL modes has always been very difficult due to a hypersensitive cursor, but only in those modes. Is there an adjustment to dampen cursor movement in those modes? Do others experience this? Otherwise, my cursor works great in the FCR, TGP, etc.
The following settings are currently in Falcon BMS User.cfg.
set g_fCursorSpeed 0.75
set g_nAxisExp_AXIS_CURSOR_Y 80
set g_nAxisSat_AXIS_CURSOR_Y 50
set g_nAxisExp_AXIS_CURSOR_X 80
set g_nAxisSat_AXIS_CURSOR_X 50GC

That is correct. Green on the ICP labels/buttons and MFD buttons similar to linked image. The user could select the version that suits the flight conditions or mission (unlit or lit).Something like this.

RE: Viper TQS selectable in Setting -> Controllers
Totally agree. But speaking for myself, I was uncertain/confused whether some elements of the in-game Controllers page still apply (i.e., center joystick, tweak, throttle cutoff, and tweak AB detent) even when the BMS launcher is used.
