Suggest you learn how the system operates before making an ill informed bug suggestion. Your picture clearly shows you at the 40 mile range and your FCR looking straight ahead so it was only looking up to 25k altitude at the 20 mile range and they spawn in IA higher than that. Not the problem of the FCR or of Instant Action that the user wasn’t pointing the FCR in the correct direction. If you had pointed the antenna up so you would have been covering 15-35k at that range you would have seen them painted on the FCR. When you see MiG-25s in IA they spawn into IA even higher than the 29s do.

RE: Speedbrake beep indicator
So much effort for realism and you guys want a beeping sound to alert you if the speedbrake is open, as if there is no other way to confirm its status.
Well in defense to this subject you miss out on the RL feelings/feedback you would get when opening speedbrakes so it is just replacing one with another.

RE: VR with BMS and vorpX….
OK thanx!
So I assume running a HP Reverb will not be cheap on GPU. It’s let’s say a bit more (not critical) pixels number than a 4K monitor, but we are talking about 2 separate render passes… that will not be cheaper than 1 4K monitor I think.
Indeed it isn’t. I have both the Rift S and the Reverb and even running DCS on a Asus GX800VH and running the Reverb at 60Hz it can still get a bit choppy at times. So yeah you’d better have a pretty stout system if you choose the Reverb.

RE: VR with BMS and vorpX….
@AsafBoy:
maybe in 3-4 weeks,
However, when the opportunity to use VR in BMS will raise, im sure everyone will grab it with both hands, even if its not the official or must “optimal” thingBeachAV8R - keep us updated, maybe the day ill buy VR headset is closer then i thought
Going from head tracking to VR is like going from no head tracking at all to to some type of head tracking. Especially in WVR scenarios since you are actually looking where the bandit is. Makes it absolutely natural to know where you need to go.

RE: VR with BMS and vorpX….
BTW, seeing your vid, the instruments are readable good enough with VR glasses? I mean, if you had to judge compared to a flat screen with TIR, how much would you put the reading quality of instruments and MFD symbols, images etc?
You are using HP Reverb yes? I might go and buy a set soon and I’m mostly curious about instruments readability because a couple of years back when I visit my friend home with HTC Vive in DCS, I remember cockpit stuff being almost useless…People love DCS using the reverb for readability. Even with Rift S it isn’t “bad”. Just not as good as a reverb.

RE: Turbulence causes runaway roll trim on manual trim panel trim wheel.
Not sure which HOTAS is being used but it also is definitely not an issue with TARGET as I’ve never had a runaway trim issue with my TM WH running through TARGET.

RE: How often do I actually need to fly in the campaign?
that might explain the slow progress despite me absolutely crushing the DPRK and now PLA forces
You will also need to remember to change PAK priorities as the war goes on or they will get to a point and just stop since their priorities from the start have been met.

RE: >80° FOV?
Not sure if it would need to go all the way to something added into the configurator as FOV is literally a set it and forget it bit for configuring your setup. Some people will need to modify it like myself as triple screen setups the default FOV is a non starter and some like the OP just want to mess with it but either way once you get the setting where you like it then it just stays there.

RE: The VPC MongoosT-50 Throttle
You are correct of course. I should be ore careful with my responses. So, the POV hat is not mappable unless you use TARGET which is software external to BMS. I guess that my point is I would rather open a vein than use TARGET.
Which is your choice of course. However if you are going to get a HOTAS with a bunch of switches you will ALWAYS run into that kind of problem as it is a DX issue nothing specific to any HOTAS manufacturer. Waichou’s reply above just points to that as you will always need to run something external to BMS to get around those issues. You cannot blame TM, Saitek, Logitech, etc. etc. for a Microsoft Windows limitation.

RE: The VPC MongoosT-50 Throttle
Hi Icer. Primarily, without third party software the POV switch on the throttle is not mappable.
That isn’t true. The hats are map able if you use TARGET which is TM software not third party.

RE: Can't play at high resolution!
Srry for being obscure, i meant the Main menu doesn’t work with 120 or 144Hz only 60hz as you said. If i try 120hz it just hangs and goes black and suddenly disable my surround setup automatically, because i use displayport for higher framerates.
And i use Win 10 Pro 64x build 1809. Yes all my 3 monitor are at 120Hz, and i realy want to play in fullscreen if that will be possible i don’t like windowed mode.Hope this explain a bit more.
Kind Regards
e33etThis isn’t a native BMS issue with NVidia Surround but something else with your configuration. I use 3x 2k monitors at 144Hz adaptive refresh (7840x1440 in bezel corrected NVidia Surround) without any issues you are talking about. I am running Windows 7 64 bit versus Windows 10 though. My older monitor setup was 6010x1080 bezel corrected. I’ve been running BMS in this kind of setup for the better part of a decade.

RE: Mal&Ind button opens canopy
Since you gave a very specific example that was easily tested I got into the Ground Ops TE and tried to duplicate this problem. Sorry but either your .key file or your install is borked. I put the canopy down and waited for it to finish and lock then I held the Mal&Ind button down. Both done via mouse button press. I let the voice warning indications run all the way through. The canopy never moved.
