@Quasi_Stellar

Hi,
Yes, I’d seen a post on that. The file is I believe: d3d11.dsp
I tried deleting that (well, renamed it) but it made no difference in my case.

RE: Start Up Fail...

@airtex2019

Given experience with other software where that’s been an issue, I can believe that - in this case though, doing a clean re-install did the trick - and I’m not so certain now that it was the screen resolution change I made, because I’ve re-selected the same resolution and its happy. Go figure…

RE: Start Up Fail...

@alfistaaykut

Ok, decided to reinstall as suggested, and actually quite straightforward, so thanks for that as it solved the issue.

I’d still like to know where the screen resolution is stored in a cfg or ini file though if anyone knows, could come in handy…

RE: Start Up Fail...

@alfistaaykut

Hi, thanks for the post.
I was hoping not to have to do a complete uninstall / reinstall…
The screen resolution must be saved in a file somewhere?
I just can’t find it…
I will do a complete uninstall as a last resort!

Start Up Fail...

Hi,

I’ve just installed F4 (Steam) + F4BMS4.35 + Update 1 - and confirm the programme started up ok - Instant action worked fine.
I believe I then changed the screen resolution from within the Falcon 4 interface. I Then installed Update 2…
Now the Launcher programme starts, but if I click “Launch”, the Black BMS/Tommo splash-screen appears then exits back to desktop.

I guess I chose an incompatible resolution. Is there a config or ini file I can delete to reset the screen resolution?

Thanks for your help.

(Windows 11, new computer)
