RE: This Sucks
read the TO-BMS1F-16CM-1 in the DOC folder in your BMS install location
I recommend pages 27-29 and 54-56 for a good way to setup your flight controls
Become familiar with the terms TMS, DMS, CMS and COMMS….
Print the pages I mentioned and practice, practice, practice
…or just continue playing Ace Combat on your X-Box…

RE: Ff you could have one thing in the next update it would be…
I was thinking, what if we could have different audio outputs…for instance, if engine noise and exterior noises could be put on my pc speakers, then all the headset sound, comms, IVC, RWR put on my pc headset…
Its kinda like when on teamspeak…the comms come through my headset, but the game noise is run through my speakers…but it would be sweat if the ingame comms like ATC and AWACS could be put to my headset also.
Same with any other real life sounds being put into the pilots headset, my guess is also the electronics and missile tones.
Seems like more work then I can even imagine, trying to split audio outputs, but I believe this would add a minor level of realism for those of us with good audio systems.

RE: F16 skin questions
OK, next question….so I added a new skin set for the F16cm52, so instead of 1 set and 20 textures I got 2 sets and 40 textures…ALL GOOD…
but… when I go ingame, while in the 3d pit when I look over my shoulder the wings are not the skin I loaded, so were do I look to add the new texture so they load add the ones seen while in the cockpit?

RE: Maverick Capital Sensor
yes, to do a handoff between the tgp and mav you must align them first. before you enter the combat zone target a building far away with the tgp then look at the mav page you will see the do not aim at the same spot, you correct this for each pylon, then your good to go.
This must be done every mission.

RE: F16 skin questions
I would love any psd linked to be able to use as a template. Ofcourse I would give full credit to you, cuz lets face it, all the hard work is in the layers. Paint jobs are easy, its all the detail work that takes time.

RE: "Read The Manual" replies
Coming from no real world flight training at all, I can honestly say that reading the god damn manuals is the answer to learning this sim. Now I did watch all of Krauses tutorials and more. And I did fly online with ppl. But at no point did the vids or the ppl I flew with show me anything not in the manuals. Sure they pointed out things I had yet to learn, but when I dropped back to look at the books, what they showed me was right there in the manual.
Long story short, you CAN learn this sim on your own.
Step 1= RTFM
Step 2= Watch tutorial vids
Step 3= Print out checklist and important pages from manuals, like ramp start in 3 sweeps, the hotas configs for the different modes and the weapon emploment chapters.
Step 4= Practice, practice, practiceAs already stated, this website is more about the creation of the game. While there is alot, and I mean alot, of helpful ppl here. This website is not a virtual squad. So for someone here to say RTFM or “you need to join a vfw”, they are not being elitist jerks. They have just given you the best advice you will ever, ever get.
