I wholeheartedly thank you all for expressing your honest opinions and giving adviceā¦ Plenty of food for thoughts, really.
The reason for the question contained in the original post would require a lengthy explanation on my part (again, no technical issues or FPS drop), so let me conclude by saying that Iāll certainly rethink it all.
Best regards to All.
Hi,
In the intro information for the 4.36.1 one thing was not perfectly clear to me. I removed 4.36.0 and performed a fresh install of 4.36.0 + 4.36.1 (successful!). Do I need to add any script lines to my config file? Thanks.
Many thanks, another great add-on for our fvourite sim Do you recommend a clean BMS install for this particular mod only?
Hi,
First of all I must emphasize that this post isnāt meant to carry any disrespect or a lack of appreciation to the developers. On the contrary, I do appreciate and admire their programming skills, willingness to make the sim better and sheer enthusiasm.
There are reasons, however, why I must discontinue flying in 4.37. My question is therefore which of the previous releases would you recommend as the most stable, possibly with fewest bugs and the most reliable database. It doesnāt have to be the most realistic or best looking ;). I am prepared to move as far back as the 4.33.
Thank you in advance for any relevant input.
@Snake122 - thanks a lot. That cfg line replacement worked like a charm.
BTW, Iām not sure whether I should thank you first or rather apologize to the devās community for not having read related threads. I was so anxious to solve my problem and fly that I forgot about the obvious: search first, than askā¦

Thank you for your replies, Everyone.
@Seifer My problem with the missing mouse cursor was solved almost at the instance I posted it.
And, no, I donāt have any specific problems running 4.37, technical or other. Posting my (polite, I hope) request I was hoping for some recommendations regarding the PREVIOUS (pre-4.37) releases.
Just one more question, this time a pretty straightforward one. Can any of the previous versions be installed along with 4.37 on the same machine?

As in the titleā¦ I use the regular launcher, and can change views with the mouse, while no mouse cursor is visible in the 3D cockpit.
Probably some small omission on my part; anyway, Iād be grateful for any suggestions.
āDiscoveriesā - because until today I havenāt tested this awesome theatre. Today I found out the latest version is 4.36-compatible, and-hey!-it certainly is!.
I took a Warthog for a ride, and, man!.. another nice surprise: what a great plane to fly! I usually fly the F-16, so the trimming was somewhat new to me, and I wasnāt sure about how the landing would go, but even though itās a completely different story, I managed to bring the bird safely back to Edwards AB. The flaps do their job rather nicely, something we neednāt worry about flying the F-16
Many thanks to the creators of the Nevada theatre and the A-10 FM.
For your information, I place all BMS-related installers/patches + the sim itself on E: even though my system resides on C:, no issues.

You can simply enter either of the two A-A combat modes by pressing āMā (missile mode) or āDā (dogfight mode). Cancellation (default key āCā) will put you back in the nav mode. At least thatās how I do it. Those keyboard command assignments are the default ones in the Full keyboard file.
