@Viper053 if you have the fps counter active, try disabling this. Was reported as affecting FOV changes in a different post.

RNoAF F16 Block 52+ CFT - blurred HSI instrument face
Hi there, I am really enjoying this theatre but have noticed something odd when flying the RNoAF F16 Block 52+CFT in a campaign.
The HSI is working as expected to dial in course and heading etc, but the font and directional arrows of the instrument are very blurry/dim and hard to read, its almost impossible to distinguish the bearing numbers. It’s almost as if there is a switch I need to activate somewhere to illuminate the display- I have tried all the normal console and internal light switches, but they don’t make a difference.
Thanks

RE: Nvidia 10320x1440 Surround on triples Ok but FOV cfg edit have no effect. Nose against HUD.
@WulfKeeper said in Nvidia 10320x1440 Surround on triples Ok but FOV cfg edit have no effect. Nose against HUD.:
G’day all
Been searching the forums and trying a few things but not having much luck.
The good is that 4.37 rez outside the cockpit is great across the triples (10320x1440). Seems NVidia Surround and BMS are happy.
The bad is that my cockpit view looks like I’ve got my nose pressed against the HUD!
This seems to have happened to a few others. However… I’ve edited my .\User\Config\falcon bms.cfg and changed the FOV default and FOV max to 140. Doesn’t make a bleeding bit of difference! The mouse wheel zoom out has some effect but a tiny amount.
I’ve tried turning off ‘config override’ in the Launcher in case it was ignoring the .cfg changes. No diff. Ditto window or not CLI option.
I’m dead keen to get stuck in but I just can’t fly like this.
BTW when I exit ‘instant action’ the external fly-by looks great across all three monitors.
I suspect I’m missing something… Any sage advice gratefully accepted.
Cheers

WulfIt might not be connected but I had same problem linked to FOV and nose pressed against HUD; try disabling the FPS counter if this is active? There is a reported bug with the fps counter that affects FOV

When I use the Alt + c THEN F, I do not see any FPS meter but the camera control becomes dysfunctional. Mouse wheel for FOV change is not working and also external camera freezes, at least in orbit mode. When I press again the Alt + c THEN F everything is back no normal.

Hi, same here. For me, if I close the new drop down menu that appears underneath the fps summary bar, then my mouse wheel FOV problem resolves. Also this effects keystroke “L” for look closer in the same way.

RE: FoxVox Free voice control software for BMS
@foxster thank you for the suggestion.
I finally worked out my problem - the sound file I was trying to use for PTT Active was MikeClick.ogg from the Falcon BMS 4.37 sound directory where all sound files seem to be .ogg format.
Once I converted the .ogg file to .wav format it worked fine, problem solved. -
RE: FoxVox Free voice control software for BMS
@foxster I am having a small issue setting up FoxVox on a new build PC with Windows 11. For some reason although I set a PTT sound as Active when using the PTT key set for the voice group, the wav file is not played when invoked.
All other settings are working, speech recognition is spot on. I am using v 2.6.1.0 , with the latest v4 library
I was hoping you might have an idea why I don’t get the PTT playback sound
Thanks

RE: FoxVox Free voice control software for BMS
Hi Foxster, thanks for replying so quickly, I followed your advice and problem is now solved - all working perfectly
Also realised that I had separated the .fvx file from the asset library, as I had not read the readme.txt file that comes with the library properly - I guess that was not helping …

RE: FoxVox Free voice control software for BMS
Hi Foxster, thanks for your software that has worked perfectly for me in previous versions of BMS 4.37
For some reason following the update to BMS 4.37.3 and VC 2.3.0.0, BMS no longer recognises any commands. I am using the updated library for BMS 4.37.3, and have not made any other voice command changes.
The FoxVox software identifies and correctly interprets spoken inputs, but these are not invoked in BMS when in game.
I have tried changing the output process in Settings, to either BMS- or clearing altogether - and this does not solve the problem.
