Hi guys,
while I was watching my bomb fly to its target, I saw this truck loaded with SAM-missiles doing Donuts in the snow …
Maybe the driver wants to impress somebody ?
Just wondering …

Hi,
just wondering if Winwing MFD1 with USB 3.0 Display work in BMS ?
Will the buttons be recognized as DX buttons ?
Will the display just be used as USB Display Link monitor ?
Any experiences ?

@hoover said in Does anyone use Elgato Stream Deck XL Advanced Stream Control . Thinking about getting one:
Hmm, that’s not working for me… I get a ton of weirdly-named files and directories, not a single concise “Icons”-directory (I’m using 7z to extract the rar archive).
Cheers, Uwe
Hi Uwe,
you are correct. I should have been more precise in my wording.
Basically it is as TxMtb describes it:
When you unpack the profile, you get a folder structure with several subfolders and at the very bottom you will find state0.png and/or state1.png files, which are the icons.
You have to manually scroll through these icons, to find the ones you want.
But this should be much faster, than creating these icons from scratch.
Have fun

Hi guys,
it’s just a minor issue, no big deal:
In Gunsan Taxiway C the yellow taxiway lines are too close to the hangars, please see attached.
Thanks for your dedication

Hi guys,
clicking the INTEL icon in 2D screen brings up the current state of the war.
In the bottom left “Recent Updates” I can see recent events, as expected.
Is it also possible, to see earlier events ?
Maybe these events could be logged in a file and then later on displayed for analysis ?
In my campaign I’m just wondering, why and where other AI flights are getting shot down …
Thanx for any feedback

@TxMtb said in Does anyone use Elgato Stream Deck XL Advanced Stream Control . Thinking about getting one:
To do the toggle function, you select System on the right, then HotKey Switch
You can define the first press and second press then, and assign an icon to each.
So first press gives G, second gives Alt G, have the mapped accordingly in my keyfile.
A picture is worth a thousand words …
Thanx TxMtb
@pandion
Was your HSI in TCN or TCN/ILS mode ?
In the DED - TCN/ILS page did TCN show T/R or A/A ?
Hi guys,
somehow I managed to have the horizontal (TerrainFollowing) TF cue with left and right arrows combined.
Please see attached.
I couldn’t find this in the docu.
Everything worked fine using this “special” TF cue, just wondering, what it means ?
Thanks for your help

I’m wondering, why you need vjoy ?
In Stream Deck you can define Keys from your keyboard as “Hotkey”.
If the same keys are also defined in your BMS setup, then you can send them directly via the Stream Deck.
Example:
In Stream Deck define a Hotkey “m”.
BMS will switch to “MRM Override”, when you press the corresponding button on the Stream Deck.
I think vjoy might be helpful with the new Stream Deck Plus, where you have 4 Rotaries, which can be used hopefully as axis.
But even then in BMS several axis (may be all ?) can also be incremented or decemented via buttons.
Found this on youtube:
Don’t know, if it will work with BMS, but interesting development.
Might be designed for that other Sim.
I’m not related to Winwing in any way.

PS:
Just to let you know:
Winwing has currently a sale running.

@PopTops said in Leo Bodnar inputs partially working in Falcon BMS:
Well, the switch doesn’t hold a command, I click in the command list and flip the switch on that moment. Worked as a charm in the past. So I must do it in 2D. I know sometimes it’s not always top but I was able to manage it all the times. As long as I have a button appearing I can work with it.
Just a silly question, with AL you mean … ?
I think with AL he is refering to Alternate Launcher.
Hi Micro_440th,
I think there are some very minor issues in Document:
\Falcon BMS 4.37\Docs\03 KTO Charts\01 South Korea\Cheongju\Cheongju_ILS_24R.png
Cheongju has 2 runways 24/06 both Left and Right with runway headings 059/239.
Tacan CHO with 42X is located pretty close to runway 24R/06L.
I find 3 possible issues as can be seen in attached picture:
In order to intercept runways 24 you might want to turn inbound at radial 070.
Original sentence: “R-060” and “Start LEFT turn passing R-060 …”
Corrected sentence: “R-070” and "Start LEFT turn passing R-070 …”
MIssed Approach procedure says:
“Climb on runway heading … Intercept R-230 …”
Runway heading is 239. In order to intercept R_230 I might want to turn left instead of right, as shown by the dashed line.
At the bottom of the chart in the vertical profile it says “320”, when arriving at DME13.
I’m wondering, if this shouldn’t be “330” ?
Thanks
Sunnny
@Stratos
Please see BMS-Comms-Nav-Book.pdf page 11.
As a first step, we already now have AI JTAC lasing targets, see BMS-Comms-Nav-Book.pdf page 53.
Maybe another 3-4 weeks …
@lcriscola
Hi lcriscola,
thanks for the info.
“SimEcmMode1” was changed to “SimEcmMode1Toggle”.
The same for the other 4 buttons.
After manually updating “BMS - Auto.key” now it works.
Thanks again
Sunnny
Hi guys,
I’m having an issue with the 5 Mode “Toggles” (Buttons) in the ECM panel:
I can click them with the mouse and they work fine.
If I use the Keycombination for these 5 buttons, which are defined in the KeyMapping, nothing happens.
The Keycombination for “ECM: OPR Switch - Toggle” works fine.
Please see attached picture:
Ctrl+Alt W toggles the OPR switch and works fine.
Ctrl+Shift+Alt Q, Ctrl+Shift+Alt W, …, Ctrl+Shift+Alt Y don’t work.
Maybe this is related to https://forum.falcon-bms.com/topic/24614/bug-missing-ecm-control-button-callbacks?_=1678313438859 ?
I’m pretty sure, that it worked in 4.37.1 .
Thanks for your dedication

@Sunnny, did you sort out if the MFD’s will work with BMS?
Hi falconed2000,
I have not bought them yet, so no practical experience from my side.
They seem to work with DCS F18, you can find videos on Youtube.
So I’m still in the PreSales phase trying to get some info.
Cheers

I might have damaged/destroyed other vehicles of his unit with an earlier bomb.
So maybe the truck has lost somehow the “connection” to his unit and doesn’t know anymore his “Orders” ?
Thanks
