RE: MFD Extractor in 4.35.2 makes some guages flicker
In the past (some years ago) there occured some problems with nvidea-driver when extracting gauges or MFDs.
Solution in these days had been to use older version of the nvidea-driver, not the newest ones.
Sometimes it worked, sometimes the flickering still occured.Maybe worth a try to roll back to an older driver-version.

RE: YAME64 suite
Thanks for the wonderfull YAME-software!!!
As I’m using YAME 32bit on my client-pc as well,
I’m just wondering if this little error could have been fixed in the announced new version of YAME:Thank you very much for the 32b
A stupid question….How to Stop/Close 32b version?
seems to be an issue with the 32bit version. Placed in our tracker as critical bug.
Thanks in advance!

Shared Memory: Pilot Status
I tried to read the shared memory data with “lightnings sharedmemreader” and my own software written in C#. Everything works fine so far, except the new “Pilot Status” Datas.
In flightdata.h, following should be possible:
- in UI
- Loading
- Waiting
- Dead
- Unknown
When starting BMS 4.33 for the first time,
everything seems to work like expected.
Means: When in UI, “UI” is returned in shared memory.
When loading, “loading” is returned. When flying, “flying” is returned. But once the first mission ends (crash / died / ejected / just left mission /etc.),
the last “Pilot Status” I get is “flying”.
It won’t show “dead” nor change to “in UI” (when back in UI).Seems that shared memory stopps data-transfer after leaving 3D-world.
All instrument data show the last values from 3D-World.When I start a new Mission, shared memory does not transmit “in UI” or “Loading” either.
It just starts to transmit again a few seconds before getting in 3D-World with new data values and pilot status “flying” (which is correct in this case).Tried several times with Training TE’s and Instant Action.
Could not ever get the “dead” status-value through shared memory or “in UI” / “loading” after the first mission….
I would have to restart BMS to get the values “in UI”/“loading” again.Could anyone confirm this?
Or am I missing something? Thanks in advance!

RE: Cougar mfds
thanks for the info, I ll check it it looks great.
Other question, I cannot post on viperpit yet, but I read the forum there and I ve got linked to this http://stores.ebay.com/chinatobby/category485983219-/_i.html?_fsub=485983219&_sid=1070328859&_trksid=p4634.c0.m322
So the question, cause I am a noob in electronic how do I connect this monitor ? I have a spare graphic card with 2 DVI. In my understanding I ll need a card controller which is in Vga a power supply for the monitor and a adaptater VGA DVI, would that be it ? or I am totally wrong ?You are totally right in this.
First of all, I can recommend ChinaTobby!
I’ve bought my TFT-screens at his shop, too - they aren’t very expensive, shipping is fast (but remember they are coming from china, so there is a long way to travel!), quality of the screens is nice and the seller is a nice guy and answers your questions pretty fast.Easiest way would be to buy a “TFT + driver board kit”.
So you would have the screen and the complete controller card with switches for power on/off, brightness, contrast, etc.
In addition, you would need a power source, you can get that at ChinaTobby’s shop, too.
If you are undecided which power supply is needed, just contact him to get an advise.
Buying a kit isn’t is more expensive than buying a separate controller card and a separate screen. And like you said, the adapter is needed from VGA to DVI.
The screens work with them, I have them also running on my second graphic card.Hope that helps!
