Having the executable buried and hard to find does make it hard to add it as an exception in firewalls and virus detection software.

RE: SimShaker for DCS World and Falcon BMS support thread
After reading about the latest update….you mean that to use ANY bass shakers at all I have to purchase, at an additional charge, the 6 bass shakers? I had thought that SSW included support for two channels (2 shakers)?! Even more confused now…
EDIT: Still slightly confused but that is an ongoing issue in my life
I read further back and see that I had SS-Wheels confused with SSW. Wheels does indeed give access to 2 channels. No, I definitely want to keep the sound module as I use it with SSA for DCS.

RE: SimShaker for DCS World and Falcon BMS support thread
This makes no sense, sorry. I do have the sound module but that is not part of this issue. I am talking only about Simshaker Wings. Without simshaker DCS-BMS loaded, nor SSA loaded I am having this issue. Should I uninstall the sound module to get SSW to work? Sound module should not be loaded anyway or is it resident at all times in memory?
My issue is that without authorizing SSW it works great. Once I authorize it with my code I cannot access the audio source or bass shaker portion of SSW (see the attached photo above). I uninstalled and reinstalled twice to verify this (and lost three authorizations). As far as I understand, this issue should have nothing to do with previous/other versions of SimShaker.

RE: Anyone looking for some fun online flying?
Great bunch to fly with, they even let me hang around once in a while…

RE: SimShaker for DCS World and Falcon BMS support thread
Woops, I might have spoke too soon….
After activating Simshaker Wings and restarting my PC I can no longer choose an audio device. The section to do so is greyed out as well as the check box for output to bass shakers. No the correct device is not being used by any other software and it doesn’t show any of the sound devices that I have (two HDMI devices, onboard sound, PCI-e device, etc). Several reboots have not helped.

RE: SimShaker for DCS World and Falcon BMS support thread
I have spent the summer doing bicycle tours; come home to find that there is a new SimShaker software for BMS?!!!
Downloaded it….tried it…bought it…money well spent. This is AWESOME! Much improved! Thanks Andre!

RE: Reassigning the throttle
If you do decide to replace the pot, you can probably match one up at Digikey (or another more local supplier). I purchased a couple dozen similar pots for my revised ICP modules and when I had my cougar disassembled (had to replace the antenna pot and I made a throttle arm mod) I held them up along side one another and they looked exact to me. If you do remove your pot and want to compare to the ones that I bought let me know and I will post the exact measurements. The pots that Digikey has would need to have the metal mounts removed (really easy to do).

RE: Youtube links for learning for a beginner.
I am a semi beginner myself. A great way to learn is to get a friend and use Teamspeak. If they know more than you then you learn, if you are both at the same level you both learn. One way to accomplish this is to join a group, if you can dedicate a night of the week and stick to it (become a steady member). Another way is to get on open BMS Teamspeak servers like Falcon Online. Always someone there to help out. I fly with a VFW (Virtual Fight Wing) myself.
