RE: Printing the 4.34 BMS manual: The Lulu connection
BuzzU, I understand that you are trying to get a feel for the reproduced manuals by Lulu, but with the cost involved you can get approx. 2 Kindles or one I pad. In addition both can be used for other research and inflight with the right program. i.e the electronic flight bag, easy reference while inflight at your finger tips. But if you want to get the book it’s all good. I myself printed the manuals I did not figure on the manuals would need updates every time BMS put out a update, It went from Basic 4.33 up to I believe to update U5 before I stopped flying the game, so the question is how do U get/handle the updates? And I found that I became dependent on You Tube to get and understand each update so going electronic is cheaper than buying Lulu, but please don’t let me discourage you from buying. There are several sites that have posted links to all the manuals, you can download to your Kindle or I pad, I love the paper word myself, but I made the jump to electronic it’s just more useful and handy. (and you save a tree or two)

RE: Printing the 4.34 BMS manual: The Lulu connection
BuzzU just bookmark the page, or hi-light the page number or use note pad to log your last page that should help you out. get a I pad or Kindle (very cheap) and download all the manuals.

RE: BMS 4.33 DOCS
Hey arabianjules, I asked the same question, I do own a Kindle pad and was able to download all manuals with out a problem. Just look up BMS manuals 4.33 in google and several gaming site have them ready to download electronically. I to have all the old BMS 4.33 manuals downloaded in binders still as I understand it, a good reference for review. I to like the paper but like you lets save a tree or too.

RE: Return to BMS
Hey bruzzer and mj3437, thanks for the response, bruzzer I have two usb’s mini monitors that fit the MFD’s fairly well, so I want to extract the game displays i.e. left and right MFD’s as I did before with 4.33 to them and mj3437 Yea I saw the manual list too in the folder but just trying to think ahead, since I printed them all out in 4.33 I was just wondering if any manuals were the same in content and if not what is the total MB for the download to see if I could get them all on my I pad. So thanks for that mj3437.
So one question remains Does the old MFD extractor still work with BMS?WeakLink

Return to BMS
Hi guys, I’ve been absent for a while, and getting back into BMS, Just downloaded 4.34 and updates, previously I was using BMS 4.33U4. My question for the group Can you still use the MFD extractor for the TM cougar MFD’s. or do you have to use the other two extraction methods as described in chapter 5. Not a big computer geek and might have problems working out the possible kinks that might arise.
Also are the manual all updated to the point I should download them again or are some manuals still applicable. That be nice to know since it cost me a pretty penny in ink and paper to download them last time, (LOL). Or could anyone tell me how many GB all the manual take up, maybe I can squeeze them on my I pad.WeakLink

RE: BMS Product update 3
Well I tried it all and I had to uninstall 4.33 U1 and reinstall and erase /4.33 U3 from drive. Now it seems to update normally, not sure which download was corrupted but all good now.

RE: BMS Product update 3
Hey Cobaltuk Yes I have both files under DATA entry, so you figure it is the update 3 having the problem then?
