If you bothered to read the threads, youâd see the release was solely to test the campaign engine works as hoped, to which end I say the theater is real good. So why donât you take your âinsightâ and shove it where the sun doesnât shine?
where is that up your Ass?
let me remind, this is a super nice and realistic theater, if there is some work being done to release it like the Balkans please give some hints. Thank you
Make sure youâre viewing icons for battalions, not brigades or divisions. A white circle should appear on top of the icon.
yes it is, it is 471 AAA battalion and when I recon it I see it on the runway where it usually is in the game. Yet no white circle appear on it when double ticking. But you are right for other battalion the white circle did appear after double ticking, I wonder why it is not working with this particular one?
it appears that if the battalion is already on the map then the circle appears, but if I place it on the map by the find button then it doesnât work
Double click battalion icon and move the white circle. As above, donât forget to untick âset by HQâ first.
double clicking doesnât do anything really, and yes I did untick the âset by HQâ and the unticked box is saved. Which white circle do you mean the planes waypoint?
Hi Osmeen - you can tell the vehicles to move aside.
On the interactive map, just click the bataillon to see its status.
There, remove the check at âSet by HQâ. Now, you can drag their steerpoint to somewhere else. As soon as they are on their way, you may drag the steerpoint circle back again.
If youâre lucky, they will end up in a better position than before. I was.
found the battalionâs name & location on the map but not sure how to drag steer point, I donât see any
I find the only major thing missing to be an advanced cloud/weather systemâŚ
right on the money, I checked in just to make that comment too. Especially the lumpy clouds, when turning head in sim these rotate in a very funny way, please fix.
pardon me sir, but I thought it would help if all these remarks are made in a maverick thread. In your video I didnât see any problem and you were able to shoot a target with 100% hit other than that I thought the ship was too close to the target after the first shot to get a steady cross. My emphasis on handoff is because it is quite a useful tool when you have a long line of vehicle and you are after only one of them, the one causing trouble to the pilot. So I think it was handoff procedure error that was causing the non stop flash.
I also found out that you can as well apply the 2 ripple when using TG in handoff. Just designate the first target with the TG pod then move the cursor and designate any other. Once cross is steady then shoot.
the flashing in the video needed a better adjustment to make it disappear, so that wasnât all that too surprising to see. Its still not the handoff technique.
But I finally did make four strikes in a single pass with radar altitude 4000~3000 fts using the handoff technique. So no I donât think its altitude either. I think what happened in the past was related to the handoff process itself. Perhaps because the Maverick has the force correlation capability that the handoff may not be successful sometimes. I usually pick a large building or object to go through the handoff process before reaching target. It is very much possible to have the TG Pod placed at one point on the large target and have the Mav placed on a different point of the same target when bore sighting. If that happens then I think the handoff might end up being not accurate and thus cross keeps flashing when in target area and using the handoff method.
there was absolutely nothing wrong with the jetâs attitude but the cross kept flashing. With higher altitude and same attitude the flashing stops. Iâll make another run for it today and confirm again.
