I’ve been using a DIY LED/PS3EYE setup. Works ok but I need to upgrade to the proper LED’s. Also, I don’t like that it is somewhat bulky. I’m afraid I’m going to break it. I’ve been researching the EDtracker as I really only use 2DoF most of the time anyways, pitch and yaw. the guys at EDtracker are to be coming out with a wireless version soon that has my interest. In the mean time, I ran across this piece from Sparkfun, https://www.sparkfun.com/products/14001 . Now I don’t know enough about this kind of thing, so anyone here have ideas on if this thing would work with BMS and Opentrack to work as a head tracker? It is lipo battery ready, so could a Bluetooth module be added to make it a completely wireless unit? It appears to be quite small and compact and would be very light weight. The cost is higher than the current EDtracker but that one is wired. Any thoughts on this? Is my thinking on this way out of whack?
Thanks for the input
