I have a resolution of 5760x1080. Everything was working great. I was trying to get the head tracking set up and then W10 decided to update at that moment. After the update my resolution in BMS 4.34 dropped to 1920x1080. I am going to mess with it more tomorrow and see what I can find out.

RE: Invalid Format in BMS 4.34
Your olevia or Sony as displayed in your screenshot settings is not a full HD display but an hd ready. This means the resolution is 1366x768 at 60 or 59hz.
So set this resolution in Nvidia settings and in falcon ui gfx resolution.
Have fun.
And when you have a PC with 3x50" why r you trying to run falcon on one so low resolution tv?Στάλθηκε από το MI 5 μου χρησιμοποιώντας Tapatalk
I have the Simulator in the garage and my desktop pc in the house. I don’t always get the chance to run the sim. When I am at the desktop, I can still fly. The desktop pc is going to be used for VR and has a better GPU and PCU. I just wanted to see how BMS would work out on it.

RE: Invalid Format in BMS 4.34
Ok guys. Thank you for the help, but none of this is working. i was building this PC for DCS and virtual reality. I am going out to the flight sim and install 4.34 out there. It shouldn’t have any issue. There are three 50 inch screens.

RE: Invalid Format in BMS 4.34
OK thats an old outdated “HD TV” , how do you connect to it (VGA, HDMI or ?) and whats it native resolution? Whats your Desktop resolution?
Find out what that is and then set that in BMS setup page, restart ditching the -window switch.
OR
Leave the -window and set game rez same as the UI, 1024x768.
OR
Connect/try on another monitor.
Did it run 4.33 OK and or other “games” ??
This TV ran 4.33 with no problem. It is connected with HDMI.
I have been messing with all of these resolutions. Nothing changes it. The TV settings do not let me see or change the resolution. -
RE: Invalid Format in BMS 4.34
I do not have a Sony TV. I have an Olevia and these resolutions are not available. Changing the resolutions is not changing my problem. The size of the BMS 4.34 window is my issue.

RE: Invalid Format in BMS 4.34
When I change my resolution to 1920x1080 my refresh rate drops to 29 hz and i cannot change it. I set all of my setting in nvidia the same as those settings and nothing changes. I still cannot see the buttons at the bottom of the settings page. The only difference now is that the screen is hurting my eyes at 29 hz refresh rate.
On the upside, I did a fresh install and got my ground terrain back.

RE: Invalid Format in BMS 4.34
Uninstall, download new, install - everything will work well! “Have you correctly installed the ChipSet motherboard drivers …” - this is the basis. The latest driver of Nvidia 430.39.
The reason why I asked is because you mentioned the motherboard chipset driver, but gave me the update for the GPU driver, which is up to date btw.

I am not sure what else you need.

My motherboard is a Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. Z390 AORUS ELITE. I don’t think it has an NVIDIA chipset. The chipset is an Intel Z390. According to the Intel website it is all up to date. The current GPU driver is the 430.39.
