I couldn’t detect much difference with that setting. What I have now tried is using ewma filter and playing with those settings, do you use the translation inputs or should I disable them. I can’t seem a need to roll my head ect. I think only a real pilot would need to lift his head to see more of the would beneath him such as ground crew.

Nice one Basher, sorted. Now one more question is there a setting to calm down the head movement just a tad, it’s a bit lively.?

Ah could this be the on called game zero? I have been using the one called center which just brings me back to the original position.

RE: FaceTrackNoIR w pointtrack and 3 point cap. How to buffer small movements?
I thought I’d asked this question on this thread as it does sort of relate. Is it possible to change the starting position of your head when you enter the cockpit, I’m always too close to the hud, so when I rotate the mouse wheel to move backwards the dials are out of focus. any help would be great, I want to get back into this great sim, but need to get this sorted out first.

RE: NWS problem
Wow thanks guys, works a treat, now I have my NWS right next to my wheel brakes button for my thumb to operate, make landings so much easier.

RE: NWS problem
I think I have messed up my NWS command. In the keystokes “shift+/” was listed as “ICP comms 1” but in fact did engage NWS. I wanted the command assigned to a button on my joystick so went and assigned it, now that button does something to my DED probably “ICP comms 1” as it was listed, and now when I press “shift+/” on the keyboard nothing happens. So how do I re-assign the keyboard mapping back to NWS?

RE: Selling head tracking IR-LED setups (sales pitch)
In the UK Maplins have a IR LED with a 40 degree beam angle YH70M this is the same as the recommended SFH485P. One assumes if these were to be filled down the angle may increase.
