Man i just love confirming ID with AA TGP. It just feels so cool!

Dee-Jay what is PRI in that graph? I’m assuming RF is frequency and PW is pulse width… not sure though.
I think for requesting taxi you should be on ground freq. Looks like you’re on tower freq as per the chart above.
Agree with Dragon. I think it’s important to get comfortable doing it without the hud. I feel it’s sort of similar to AA Refueling. That if you can get used to the sight picture it helps a lot. I personally always land with air brakes on (except in some emergencies), because that way my rpm is higher and the engine is much more responsive for changes. Anyway congrats on getting the hang of it.
I’ll reiterate Dragon’s point that taking your time planning makes a lot of difference whatever munition you decide to go with.
Reminds of a blow up doll I have. :uham:
First thing that came to mind was Lara Croft hahaha.
Maverick has to lock. That’s a requirement. 20 nm as, above me said is not close enough. Also remember that it’s gonna be slant range. So your altitude matters too. I wouldn’t be above say 16000ft or so for boresighting. Good luck!
Launch envelope should be similar to GBU-38 standard JDAM which is mild glide capability for probably 5-10nm from typical launch parameters.
GBU-39 has wings so range is much better at maybe 20nm or so.
GBU-53 is the SDBII (updates GBU-39 with added Laser capability). It’s a glide weapon.
Man for some reason I had it in my head that JFS was compressed air -> rotating main jet. I just read up on what it is and feel stupid about that assumption.
BTW, is fuel consumption by JFS properly modeled? How many lbs per minutes the JFS is set to burn in the code?
JFS uses fuel?
