Thank you, unfortunately I did not understand because your profile does not work …
If you need help just post what the problem is and I will be happy to take the time to help you.
It does work. I use it every single day.

Who has a complete list of commands to PDF?
Morphine’s very first post in the thread. I only updated his creation, I didn’t change anything.
The PDF he created is still very much relevant.
Just repeated my issue again.
2nd HARM shot goes high and misses. If this cannot be fixed I want my money back.
FYI the past sentence was HUMOR for all the stressed out types.
I just wanted to add that this exact same thing has happened to me. I never thought of it as a problem but more like something that might happen in real life, were the HARM just goes batsh*t crazy and just keeps flying up in altitude because of a guidance failure…? At least thats what I role play to make it seem realistic heh.
Anyways, since I came across this thread I just wanted to say that this has happened to me too more than a few times while using HAS.
Thanks for this thread. My friends and I have also had this exact problem in both Korea KTO and Israel.
We will try increasing the bandwith.
Heeeeey my friend, this is my error.

I’ve gone down the library but gives this error.

Edited because Ahmed has posted the correct solution below.
Thanks DonLduk,
I tried to save the file as ‘notepad ++’ and at first sight it seems to work properly.
I use Windows 10.
I cross my fingers.
Cheers.
Heres the steps for ya.
Download Notepad++. Use this to edit all sorts of files from *.cfg files to Falcon BMS *.key files. Its awesome. Link: https://notepad-plus-plus.org/
Open your key file. Right click the key file (which is now a txt file). Choose “Open With” then choose Notepad++ as the program to open it with. Or just launch Notepad++ and go to File/Open then browse to the file.
Once the file is open in Notepad++ do this…
A) In Notepad++ go to File/Save as…
B) In the Save As box which pops up… look at the very bottom.
You’ll see a drop down menu. It says “Save as Type”. Click that and the option at the very top of that drop down list says “All types (.)” - Choose that.
C) Now, in the box above it, the “File Name” box, type in the name of the file and add “.key” at the end of it. I.e. - “Warthog_DX.key” <-you can just copy and paste that in to the file name box. (Without the quotes)
D) Click Save and BOOM - you got your key file. :bdance:
E) When you go in to Falcon BMS and go to load a key file you will now see it there. As you probably know, just make sure it is saved in the User/Config folder
If you have any problems at all bud just let us know, but if you follow those steps you’ll be good to go.
Technically you could use Windows notepad to do this but I figured it is a good oportunity to introduce you to Notepad++ which is much better and just full of awesome.
Cheers!
This is just awesome.
Thanks so much!
I’m loving the Harrier too. It feels like such a brawler.
They did an amazing job with it. Just sh*t loads of fun.
Hey,
does anyone know how to enable the eyefly (free cam) with this profile?
Ctrl + z + f doesn´t work.
thank you
I use Trackir, but if you can explain to me how this basically works I can help.
More specifically, is your Ctrl + z + f binding in the cam software or is this a BMS bind and function? I can alter the key file for you for your specific needs.
I.E……With trackir, all hotkeys I use are bound through the Trackir software.
Hi Boxin,
I’ve been having the same problems as other people with the profile whilst using CH pro pedals and using win 10 as the OS.
I tried your directions what you gave to “direktor” in the thread, everything worked as expected until I plugged in the pedals. They assumed id 0. I then tried various ways, usb hub first/reboot/ch pro pedal/reboot etc to plugging in the warthog last but that didn’t work either. Many hours wasted I have come to a conclusion, why fight it.
Observations noted
eg Joystick only (No TARGET, Joystick HOTAS shows up in the Controller GUI in BMS,) TMS up, Button number 7 shows up and says TMS up in GUI (Pedals connected).TARGET on (Thrustmaster Virtual Game Controller (root) selected shows as ID0 in the Controller GUI in BMS ) TMS up, Button number 7 shows up and says TMS up in GUI (No pedals connected)
TARGET on (Thrustmaster Virtual Game Controller (root) selected shows as ID1 in the Controller GUI in BMS) TMS up, Button number 7 shows up and says LMFD: OSB - 7 Button - Push (Pedals connected)
It seems it is TARGET that is causing the error, without it activated everything works okay.
So if I leave the CH pro pedals at ID 0, could the key file numbers be amended to counter the problem I’m having?
I believe I would have to add 32 to all the Joystick numbers in the key file, but I’m not sure which to amend and which to leave. I want to use the Target profile/key as per Morphine’s original layout
Apologies if this isn’t making sense, it doesn’t to me neither.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Darrell
Hi Splash,
It makes sense, the exact same thing has happened to me in the past. Every single time this has happened I have uninstalled BMS (properly with the setup uninstaller), then reinstalled.
So this is what I would do in this order. Also some tips…
Tips:
A) I honestly NEVER even give a thought to controller ID in BMS. I do not think this problem has anything to do with the ID.
B) I never mess around with the controller drop down in the controls screen….ever. I never even look at it.
Actions to do:
A) Uninstall Falcon BMS - Don’t backup anything. Complete Do-over, fresh log book… everything. Reinstall.
B) I created a new version of the key file for you to try. I have removed all mappings on all MFDs. If you have MFDs, just map them later after everything is working. This is something new I have never tried.
Download link for key file with Pinky button shift state and no MFD mappings: https://www.dropbox.com/s/glydo2kcusu0ypr/Warthog__MFD_NO_MAP_DX-4_33.key?dl=0
C) Don’t remap keys using the GUI. I hear this from people a lot. I do it anyway and it has never messed up my key file. Ever.
Other notes:
There are apps out there you can google which will give you an easy interface to change controller IDs. I had MASSIVE problems regarding controller IDs changing all the time in IL2-BoS. It drove me up the wall and I try to avoid this topic at all costs - haha. In IL2 I just bit the bullet and would remap my keys every time they changed (usually when I unplugged the controllers for one reason or another then plugged them back in, which would assign them a new ID).
I don’t use a USB hub, or have one which I can test with, so regarding the hub; I apologize but I don’t have the ability to accurately trouble shoot this variable.
As I said earlier, this exact same problem has happened to me. I have fixed it every time by completely uninstalling, then reinstalling a fresh copy, then I use a backup of the key file.
Have you tried plugging the throttle and the stick directly in to your motherboard USB ports and bypassing the hub with only the Warthog?
I’m a programmer irl and I tend to just use logic to trouble shoot. Regardless of our operating systems, regardless of how everything is setup, our computers all basically work the same way, just different variables.
So the bottom line is I will help you get to the bottom of it no matter how long it takes so let me know how it goes.
Lets take this PM to the forums so others can see the trouble shooting information if they run in to the same problems.
Cheers!
