I think this is my only option after tinkering with it for a bit. Unfortunately it’s not a realistic option for me. But that is okay; there are plenty of servers I can play on

RE: How are you recording?
Shadowplay also works but FRAPS seems to me higher quality for Falcon, but the size of FRAP recorded stuff about about 10 times (!) bigger than with Shadowplay. Shadowplay works if you disable one of its function what I cannot recall, otherwise the aspect ration will be wrong.
I hope you remember. I’m tearing my hair out trying to get shadowplay to play nice with BMS. The only way I can get it to work is if I start shadowplay, start bms, loading into the cockpit, pause the game, alt tab out, close shadowplay, reopen shadowplay, alt tab back into BMS, and then start recording.

Yet Another carrier ILS question.
So now that ILS has been implemented for carriers in 4.33 U1, is there anything special I need to do to get it going? Because I cannot, for the life of me get it to work at all. I’m landing on the vinson, tacan is set to 010X and ils freq is 111.1 but I get no symbology or anything. I’m flying the Strong DPRK North Korea campaign.
If someone could point me in the right direction, or tell me which manual to look at, I would appreciate it. Everywhere I look hasn’t yielded anything helpful. I’m setting my ILS up like you do in the falcon correctly as far as I know.
EDIT: I figured it out, I’m an idiot. I was changing the wrong settings Forgot about using T-ILS on the ICP.

Dedicated BMS server on Linux?
I just have a quick question. I’ve been wanting to set up a dedicated server for a while now for the guys I typically fly with. I have a desktop that is not being used at the moment running Arch Linux x64.
Does anyone know if you can host a Dedicated BMS server on a Linux OS? I’m assuming no but that’s only because the information I have found had to do with whether or not you can play BMS on a linux machine, but I figured if it’s not actually being played, it may work?
Thanks broyos!

RE: Carrier Ops glitch?
PLease i need a REPRO Case
that means : Campaign files and exact description of what you do to get that bug…
once you have that, debugging will be a POC
I’m trying to figure out what exactly will reproduce it. It happens after a lot of potential things.

RE: Carrier Ops glitch?
Hello, and welcome to BMS. Have you tried TE where you can create your own flight plan? Let me know if you need help we can hop on Teamspeak.
Cheers!!
Yes. Creating it in a TE or doing one of the training TEs works. This is happening in campaign mode. And I think I know why. When you finish a mission and select “End Mission”, the game places you automatically directly into the next task listed. If you select anything other than that task, you cannot use the catapult. It just doesn’t know that you are there. What I don’t understand is that I just saw this happen to an AI flight as well. And then it happened to me, right after. I can’t be the only one experiencing this…
EDIT: and I know that I’m not being very clear, but frankly that’s because I don’t even know how to explain other than the catapult launch sometimes works and sometimes never grips the aircraft. I’ve come in perfectly aligned, with my wings folded, with my wings unfolded, very slow crawling speed, I’ve waited until the carrier is done turning into the wind, I’ve tried launching immediately. Nothing seems to really make any difference. Sometimes I roll to a stop and then get launched off, other times I never stop rolling and slowly go over the edge of the carrier.

RE: Carrier Ops glitch?
rip, I guess I’m the only one
It also no longer lets me grip the catapult. I just slowly roll off the end of the carrier and into the sea.

Carrier Ops glitch?
Thanks for the 4.33 update, it’s killer. But I’m having an issue in the campaign when it comes to launching off a carrier. The mission I’m spawned into is a Sweep, and we are scheduled to be the first aircraft to takeoff from the carrier in the war. When my flight and spawn however, there are already a line of Hornets sitting a ways back on the carrier. Their callsign is not a part of any of the other flights in the briefing OR the flight selection, and they just sit there until given the order to taxi. Then they move in front of the catapults and stop. And that’s it. Even if it’s my time to takeoff, I’m ordered to leave the runway. Fast forwarding results in the aircraft still just sitting there with nothing happening.
This is a singleplayer campaign in KTO. Has anyone else had this issue?
