Go to teamspeak->settings->options->hotkeys and then select on bottom right keyboard and mouse only.

I logged in just because I had some spare time with Easter holidays… Btw I don’t have time, as maybe someone has already seen :mrgreen:, to finish it up…
Last time I worked on falcon was about a year ago an I think I have lost some knowledge necessary to go on.
I think me and Stef are a bit busy in real life, I was 17 when I was working on the FF5 version of the theater and I would love to have now that much sparetime as I did ;).
Anyway atm I’m not @ home and when I’m there I often fly on propellers on CLOD…
Anyway we were really waiting for the 4.33 for some reasons also because we thought that I was coming in fast, atm btw the theater runs like a charm, even GU move on the ground as intended (I was never able to obtain this in FF5) but for SP the campaigns are really alpha stage and the DB needs a lot of modifications for LOD skins and someother stuff and some tiles are missing even if it should look almost good in some parts…
Cpu loading due to the analysis of the images, I had the same problem with my old pc.
Try to use facetracknoir with the freetrack plugin seems to be lighter

I admit that as every theater in falcon this is a long term project, in this particolar case, due to the time that I don’t really have at the moment to conclude this.
I admit that the thing works with no ctd atm, but it’s far from being complete and even if releasing something is better than nothing the % right now are not so high…
I’m happy to see that Stef made a bump here.
ATM I don’t have time to accomplish this dream. I’have done half of the terrain textures and fixed all the paths and stuff for Taiwan island.
Next step would be control also China land and finish textures with a couple of photoreal areas.
I’ve sent the files to Stef, I think he will provide you some good screens and show more interesting stuff than I do…

I know at times (probably most times) that my post’s seem a bit misleading at best and/or sarcastic at worse, when we don’t “Get It”.
The intent of my post’s are to inspire y’all to seek the solutions on your own.
FALCON, over the years, has become a “Hard Row to Hoe”, for me, so to say.
BUT the BMS Team has done some outstanding CODE work that promises to continue into the next decade.
Therefore, I am excited to to see what we CAN do with the Bi’attchdemer

IIRC there used to be an issue with Button Names longer than 16 characters. It is supposed to have been fixed but I don’t take the chance just in case.

_Note: I needed to add a USB 2.0 PCI card to my “Dell Vostro 430 i7” desktop because of strange MFD communication errors and poor joystick response (lost calibration, etc.) but I never had a BSOD due to the Saitek. I’d guess my issues were due to Dell’s chipset/USB 3.0 implementation (other USB devices seem ok).
I was ready to return the X52 Pro as broken but “luckily” found the intermittent faults disappeared once plugged into another PC._
I ve almost the same kind of problem, but that leads to ctd or bsod! I’ve the leds off, sometimes they bright up and If I’m manouvering while they do so it looses calibration and make the “0 point” the actual point where the cloche was, but it is impossible to trim as it does that quickly and **** up everything another time.
If I don’t use the SST all is going fine, the problem is that the SST is a must to use the radar cursor. (I don’t have command with more than 10 char in string)
Hi there, I’ve just bought my X52 1 week ago (not pro) and when I select a profile from profiler it causes me BSOD AND BMS crashes.
Help me please I’m very tired of this!
1024 @ 142 PPI is fine for non Photo Real.
DXT5 not needed really, DXT3 is OK for BMS.
Mind your MIPs, 6 are enough, IMHO, unless you are using Fading MipMaps.Even then I have seen FPS hits at full (12) MIPs and Fading in GUAM. Seems 9-11 is good for BMS and DX11.
Then again, we are using much bigger DDS texture images in GUAM i.e. 2048 for the “SCRUB” and 4096 for the Airbases. Some of them are weighing in @ 2800+ kb’s each!!!
But, even in the new 64 SEG MAP we are still way under the 4096 limit, so that helps her with the list and non repeating tiles a bit2 cts.

atm I’m working with 512 res @ 72ppi with, if I remember right, 6 mipmaps no fading (I wasn’t sure of the final effect)
EDIT: what the hell are the black dots on the thr? (don’t worry about the roads on water is due to water tileset in that area (fotoreal)) there is nothing there and tried to change textures and elev they are still there
It is better to do it in 1024x1024. In the future, it will be standard in Falcon (I mean FLARE). I’m doing in 2048 and reduced to 1024. I wrote script for PS (batch converter), and can reduce the size of one click for 512, 256, 128 ……Easy
I also had the same Idea personally, and in the Kashmir and Taiwan (lost version) I used 1024, that have a way more definition than 512 in low level, but it has a side effect (imho) that from high above the pixels will be merged anyway.
If I change my mind and do @1024 I ll pm u for the batch! :rolleyes:
