@Boxin:
Do you run the script from the TARGET GUI or the Script Editor?
I always use the Script Editor and it is listed as Combined.
n/m, I just ran it with the GUI and it is still Combined, same as the script editor. Let me just list some ideas you can try if you want.
Try one at a time:
1) Do this first: Disable USB selective suspend setting This is what could be reassigning your controllers.
â-------Make sure your Target script is running so it creates the Thrustmaster Devices in DM
---------Go to Device manager
---------Expand âThrustmaster Devicesâ
---------Right click on each one (3) and choose the âPower Managementâ Tab / Uncheck âAllow the computer to turn this device offâŚâ
---------Finally, Go to Control Panel / Power Options / Disable it in your profile
2) Try running the script with the opposite application of what you usually use.
3) â-Unplug all other devices except for your mouse and keyboard. Remove everything, Mic, Headset, Rudder Pedals, Game pad, ETCâŚ, even TrackIR if you use that.
------Unplug your stick and throttle.
------Reboot
------Plug in ONLY your Stick and Throttle
â----Start the target script and go in to Falcon and see if it works.
------After confirming if it works or not go ahead and plug everything back in. (If controller IDs get messed up again after you plug everything in then we will deal with that then)
4) Uninstall Warthog drivers / Reboot / Reinstall Drivers
5) Try this last: Go to device manager / Go to the top menu bar and choose - âViewâ, âShow Hidden Devicesâ / Go through your âHuman Interface Devicesâ tree and remove all the devices that are light grey (Ghosted) - Reboot
OK - this is how it is:
If everything is unplugged, computer rebooted, and then plugged in correctly (order wise), after binding the controllers and loading the keyfile/configuring axes - everything works fine.
So I know what needs to be done before starting FaconBMS.
The problem seems to be the USB hub that I use (not enough ports in my MOBO, and cable length issues) because after OS restart, the USB devices order gets messed up.
For now I just keep the HOTAS/pedals unplugged until I plan on playing, upon which I just connect them in the correct order and taaadaaaa problem solved
Anyway, thank you for the great profile, hope to see you over the virtual battlefields (preferably same sides )
