that might explain the slow progress despite me absolutely crushing the DPRK and now PLA forces
There is a option value you can set to “Falcon BMS.cfg”
Also I wasnt able to find the specified line in the cfg file, it doesnt appear to be in there.

yeah literally just learned that today when looking for a definiteve answer on this, what specific problems does it cause?
Manual isnt really great on giving specifics on how the campaign works in regard to this stuff
Cool didnt know about this, will it mess anything up if I change it mid campaign.
Could that be why during the Rolling Fire Campaign im currently running the ground progress seems really slow (day 5 and only just now getting to Wonsan, still havent gotten past the DMZ on the west coast) or could it have something to do with me frequently running the campaign at 64x speed.
Ive wondered this for a while and I am curious as to how often I actually have to fly to ensure my allies are successful. I have seen some people say that allied unit performance both 2d and 3d is based upon pilot rating and other posts ive read that have said that you need to fly every 2 hours or you ground troops will start losing (if the latters the case I dont seem to notice it much). So whats the actual verdict here? How often do I actually have to fly missions and have them be successful. It gets boring doing AI and BARCAPs to fill time after a while.
Wouldn’t ambushcap by its nature be almost exclusively defensive? What is a good way to perform a fighter sweep with such limitations since depending on opponent you cannot necessarily face them head to head. Approaching from low alt would seem to be too dangerous because of the risk of Sam’s and manpads
So the standard approach would be radar off following awacs or gci and try to maneuver around the enemy and get to his blind spots or force him into a wvr engagement? How do you approach that if the enemies are less easily isolated and flanked? Approach from below I’d presume?
In an 80s scenario where the f-16 has no bvr capabilities is it realistic to fly barcap and or fighter sweeps or would thos be exclusively the territory of f-15s with the viper only being used as a strike platform and a2a as a secondary priority.
If a heater only f-16 is realistic to fly a2a sorties how would one get around the range limitation in the most practical way
My goal is to complete a campaign with more than 20 kills but I have yet to actually complete one because I have absolutely no idea how to fly a modern aircraft. The most kills I’ve gotten I think before giving up was about 5 or so and those were just from launching all of my slammers at a group and then running away lol.
I’ve never seen strong DPRK how much better armed is NK? Is it basically a Zerg rush of mig-29’s?
Wow those are some Eastern front Luftwaffe numbers.
