RE: F16 block 40/Balkans VHF dosen't work IVC
@Hendry30 Try creating seperate port forwards for each IVC port and don’t use the port range. It’s possible that the router firmware is doing stupid things. Probably will work after that.

RE: F16 block 40/Balkans VHF dosen't work IVC
It’s exactly as I expected. Tucano’s client is connected to virtual server 1 only. Make sure the port forward works for all 3 IVC ports correctly. UDP: 9987, 9988, 9989

RE: F16 block 40/Balkans VHF dosen't work IVC
@Hendry30 Have you verified on the IVC server window that the client connects to the three different virtual servers? Something along the lines
client joined channel ... on virtual server 1 client joined channel ... on virtual server 2 client joined channel ... on virtual server 3
Do the talk events appear in the IVC server window?

RE: F16 block 40/Balkans VHF dosen't work IVC
As far is I know there is no difference when it comes to IVC and differnt blocks.
Make sure that you have forwarded the correct ports to the IVC server and that the clients actually join the right virtual server when connecting. IVC will “fail” silently and join the clients all into the first server (which is UHF) if there is a misconfiguration on the port forwards.
You can verify that in the IVC server cmd window.
Also make sure you switched the CNI knob from Backup to UFC.

RE: FPS DROP IN THE NEW FALCON BMS 4.36
@Mike_Bravo said in FPS DROP IN THE NEW FALCON BMS 4.36:
@I-Hawk
On my old i5 6600k/GTX 1660Ti, 16GB Ram TE Benchmark runs nicely at 60fps capped with Cmd around 7000. Most demanding TE is 21 Osan Daegu - there the Cmd count goes to 14000 and my fps is around 38-42 pretty stuttery. If I turn off Shadow Mapping, Cmd count goes down to 6000-7000 and fps is again 60. My bottleneck is clearly shadow mapping as it doubles the number of Cmd (drawcals?) - I would be really grateful if it would be possible to set the Shadow Mapping radius somehow in menu/config (ie no shadows/cockpit/small radius/normal/big/+shadows on smokeSame observation here on my end. I’m running a i7 4790k and a GTX1070 with about the same FPS running at 3440x1440.

RE: Inconsistencies/outdated information in the training manual
@ZeeMan90 did you load the comm plan and save your DTC before entering 3D?
I’m not sure if this is required for training missions but afaik they are essentially TEs. -
RE: Sniper pod and colored MFD
@regev FLIR on the MFD refers to the LANTIRN/Na pod functionality.
Using the TGP page you can switch between white-hot, black-hot and TV while using the sniper pod. WHOT and BHOT are infrared images.
Make sure to check the fine manual in your docs directory. Also check out the training missions (including the manual)

RE: Avionic issue
Are you running any TARGET or Foxy scripts that might be triggering key-presses? Or maybe some “hotkey macro” scripting software like antimicro? Sounds like the key-presses are triggered somehow.

RE: FPS impact of 4.35
At that moment of switch, do you see a difference in draw commands number? (It appear in the first FPS row as “Cmd”)
I’m using TR_BMS_21_Osan_Taegu for testing. It starts off with around 14000 sitting in the shelter. On the runway it’s already down to about 7000 and in the air it goes down to about 3000. I couldn’t observe a jump in the draw calls while the wheels lifted of the ground. The number just went gradually down the further I got away from Osan. Which seems perfectly normal to me. Still shadow mapping cuts my FPS in half. Without it I’m sitting at about 80 FPS in the shelter in said TR, with it enabled I’m down in the 30s.
