The one thing that I hated about other programs, you couldn’t broadcast your real voice and also the key commands simultaneously due to no DX. This will make it all work. Thank you so much Adam. FoxVox is better than anything out there and perfect for BMS. I have been using it for awhile now and it adds so much to the immersion, I never fly without it.

RE: To F-16 Maintainers: How to remove the Canopy
How much does it weigh?
The whole thing, I mean.
The canopy and frame weighs about 180lbs. Its a special trainer only thin canopy, maybe 3/8" thick? The stock canopy weighs about 220.
If you mean how much does the whole trainer weigh, I would guess about 1800 lbs or more. -

To F-16 Maintainers: How to remove the Canopy
I recently acquired a Link Weapons System Trainer that I am going to convert to a pit and need to remove the canopy. I have a gantry and got it open, my question is how does it attach to the pivot point? If anyone can tell me the step by step procedure for removal it would be great
Thanks

RE: HOTAS Cougar Radar Cursor modification
Sixpack
I have no idea. I am the type of guy that is willing to take apart anything and try my best to make it work. For the little bit of money he is asking, buy one and try it. It will be WAY easier to mod a plastic handle than a metal one. If I had no money for a Cougar, I would by the TQS and keep it alive. They are stupid cheap and that and the Cougar are really your only options for a realistic F-16 throttle. IIRC, I do have an old plastic one, it feels a bit lightweight of course but it is totally useable. -
RE: In RL AAR do pilots refuel in the turn?
I thought it was impossible at first. Then Falcas, a RL 747 pilot, showed up to fly my pit. He jumped in and the first thing he did was remove all the curves I had programmed. He then proceeded to zoom up close then gently slide in and hooked up in seconds. This was embarrassing, because I told him I thought my pit controls must be broken. Of course it couldnt be me!! Bear in mind, he had never even seen my pit before and it took him about 30 seconds to connect. Humiliating is a better word, but at least I knew it could be done by a human. After a few weeks of grinding teeth and breaking cell phones I finally hooked up for the first time. Good day.
Here is how I do it. Open the AAR TE. I lock up the tanker on radar. I approach at about 400 then slam on the brakes. Then I stick the gun cross on the boom and match speed somewhat. Get clearance. Now here is the part that works for me but I think is a bad idea. To match speed, I set the FF gauge to 3200 and that will match the speed of the tanker enough to connect. You can hook up every time even in a turn but you will need a bit more FF, more like 3400 pph. This not good though because the FF rate will probably be invalid if the loadout of the jet is different. I’m not totally sure, because I’ve only ever done it in the TE which is exactly the same every time. But at least I can connect!! Oh and one more important thing. I can only do this with an SSC .I have a real SSC in my pit and and I literally fly with my fingertips as did Falcas. I cant do it with a regular gimbal joystick. But the idea of larger movements by the poster above makes sense…hope this helps. -
RE: In RL AAR do pilots refuel in the turn?
Hello Forum.
While I can manage to latch on in the turn (only occasionally), any Youtube video I’ve seen shows the tanker straight and level.
Just wondering……
Bayonet.
hard to believe but it’s easier for me to hook up in a turn, maybe because I have to keep some back pressure on the stick.

RE: Can't Install my Microprose Falcon 4.0 disc on Windows 10\. It won't run….........
If there was a bug in the reset process, I think it would have been uncovered quite some time ago, wouldnt you agree?
