As title say, v 4.35 KTO vanilla.
Aibases where it had happen, Kimpo, Pyongteag, Wonso and latest Suwon. A bit off annoyance, only solution is to load the savefile into Mission Commander and manually find the group and move them to another location and not have any base defence. Donno why they park basicly center of runway lenght and just on the side of the runway and sometimes center. When they on the side it works for human to just not do formation land/TO. Ai is another matter. They mostly just crash into them if they CAT III Cap flights usally get airborne before and manage to miss, since all flights now do formation TO it’s a bit of disaster when they appear on runway. Restart dont help since they there. … Wait for severalo hours and givr the group a command to move helps sometimes. But loosing time in the progress and after a day or so they are commanded back by HQ… even whith HQ off.

unable to reproduce them since right now I could move a squad to Kimpo and it works, no ctd…. Could been that it was some movements and reinforcement coming into the game at the same time. I took off from there and landed, taxied around and no CTD. However the lights on the airbase was not visible from the air, looked ok on ground after a some time, like they wasnt turned on at first, still no TACAN. Donno if the expansion of the base that’s made making some issues.

Ok tuned the Tower radio and called them for landing, now it got lights, nice :), checking out closing ths matter now all works.

I reopen the file and Kimpo is there with Camp id 276. ID-1055,Camp ID-276
Quite sure it’s the right craschlog… sorted them in date and the 2 last ones was when it happen, unless it ctd without crashlog.
Will try reproduce them after work tonight.

Not sure it’ related to BMS, might be for MC.Kimpo Airbase, CTD in campaign after turning of runway to New Terminal in KTO Rolling Fire, Also could not get any Tacan signal from it, 083X. Same Campaign earliest save. No CTD when turning of into terminals, still no Tacan, backup was on 083x selected… nothing… Nicely done Terminals btw.
So just checking if anyone else had any trouble at Kimpo, especially after used MC. Just looking for any combinations that might shade a light on where to adress the issue. Will keep ty to land a cpl of more times witn my actual save.No other problem in the Campaign what I noticed.

First, thanks Tom for all your effort making this coming along. Hope you get Everything sorted out so your focus can come back here. This theater looks awesome. Flying thee Fjords and be able to shoot something, just not obly fly for there for the thrill like in FSX
@ ccc1tw, where to get this awesome swedish Aircraft? Any of them working for 4.33? Do you know if anyone done the grip? All available in FSX so the 3d models are done by someone, would be nice getting it into F4 as a good G4/5 fighter, perfect suite for this scenario.

Ok got the download from above to work… IE was a bit funky at the time.
Done the Reading and might try this again, if it goes back to misbehaviurs I guess its time to use the regular way in X-55, get 3 layers with that.
If yhis work i’ve been thinking, will the combo programmed buttons and dx layer play along? Since in the program I can choose for buttons that I don’t need 3 functions for use default dx funcionallity. Thinking loud but if anyone have tried it pls say. Used it in early Falcon with my X45 (that last week made its last turn 13years+) but it was not working satisfactionary since it messed up things. Wish it was a key that cleared out any Shft, Ctrl or alt pressing from memory with a thought since it was what made it fail with quick tapping on several buttons with modifiers and you never now what happen. It felt like the same, earlier today, when it started to do thing that I didnt told it too.
Now I read the document that you guys hide, one question, short tap make it shift, long tap makes it expand… right there you lost me, expand… ehh?? like a second shift mode? or what?thx for your Quick reply , back to resting.

@Tiffy, that I’ve sorted out when installing W10. No powersaving for USB’s :), screw the enviroment and run everythin on full throttle
@Snelle, Already have tested your file. Also tried the reg trck for the mouse “stick” thx for that.
Anyway sorted it out by turning of the shifting in Falcon BMS.cfg, thx Blu3wolf. No more wierd behaviours, stable as a rock… now I need to fing whan commando is doing the final zooming in Mavericks… anyone?

Abit old thread but neverless actual for me, had this wierd behaviour in flight, all the sudden it switch to MRM or dogfight mode, swapped the mfd’s, kicking out the brakes, disable the autopilot etc. Will give it a try to disable the overlay, my pinky is set to the none DX shift but still getting the wierd behaviour.
@Kolbe, flying this sim since release with thousands of hours. Falcon has since we started to improve it (sounds better than hacking right) into FF and BMS in all forms, I know the keyfile has always been the heart of trouble (together with Graphics), did’t excpect to read a 30+ manual about a file that was clearly stated in the new manual that it now was good to edit directly in the setup page.@ the devs, clearly a mistake to has layers on as default, for us that not even know what it is and what it does. Also seen in the joystick docs.
“DirectX is implemented into the key file for the shifted and an unshifted layer of Saiteks X52. On the following pages you can find all info about setting up your Cougar and how to change functions. It is assumed that you’ve read the BMS-Keyfile Manual and the DirectX Shifting Facility Article in the forum.”
That page is non available for us regulars, if I could read it I might get into my old thick head how things work nowdays in BMS. Just need to gt the stick work as intended first.
