@hellsguard , In the manual BMS-Training.pdf section 18.4.2 Managing the AI wingman says:
“When the wingman asks you for “permission to engage”, you will have to respond to that call. Lack of response on your part will be taken as implied permission after a while. So, if you do not respond, your AI wingman will engage.
If the contact is too far away, select ‘Weapons Hold’ from the Wingman menu to tell your wingman to wait. Get ready to use that one often.”
In section 18.4.3 The CAP page 236: " Learn from your mistakes and extend that commit criteria to bullseye + 40 Nm."
Therefore, I think it should probably be + / - 40 nm or depending on the posture and hostile ASPECT of the enemy aircraft.
