RE: News from the frontline, 4.37.3 delayed (and explained)
@Seifer Appreciate the detailed report on how things are progressing towards update 3. Please pass on our thanks to the Dev team who are doing a fantastic job to an already awesome flight simulator. Even if the next update takes a bit longer, it wouldn’t bother me in the slightest, we can wait! Congratulations guys, and keep up the excellent work. Please remember to take a break, you’ve all earned one!

RE: Ice’s Falcon BMS Profile Updated for BMS 4.37
@linknet lol of course! D’Oh.
Let me get back to you, if I can get all of the functions working I’ll be happy. Thank you for the tips, appreciate it. This shit is not as easy as it looks!
Right I got everything working except for the Map Scale binding, what type of switch should that be, a rotary? I mapped it to the Mode switch on the AMPCD, seems to work.
Thanks again for the help, that was great!

RE: Ice’s Falcon BMS Profile Updated for BMS 4.37
@linknet The AMPCD I found in the F/A-18 Hornet controls section, it may not be suitable for BMS I dont know but there doesn’t appear to be an option to make those push buttons toggle. Which section do I find those buttons you are using?

RE: Ice’s Falcon BMS Profile Updated for BMS 4.37
@linknet I’m using the AMPCD push buttons to turn the various input bindings on and off but which turns them on ok but they wont switch off when I try to toggle that button. Do I need to bind something else to each button?
For example the “Set Waypoints Visible” binding.

RE: Ice’s Falcon BMS Profile Updated for BMS 4.37
FIrst of all congratulations for the amazing work you guys have put into this Helios profile(s). I’ve been working through various tutes on YouTube and steadily building a few profiles that work with my Laptop screen as well as my Samsung tablet. I made a half-assed attempt to run the CPD Only version but got too many errors so put that on the back-burner for now.
I’ve managed to extract gauges & MFDS to my laptop (secondary monitor) and also got the tablet working via SpaceDesk. Recently updated to the latest Helios version and noticed the Map Control for BMS that I am extremely interested in.
Question: Does anyone have a link or document that will explain how to configure this Map Control properly?
I see the screenshots above and its clear that you guys know how to do this but is there a resource I can view to learn how to configure it myself? Thanks in advance.

Any thoughts?
I dont have any issues ramp starting the F-15C using a Warthog HOTAS, just make sure you have a release for both idle cut off release call backs, as below.

RE: New free MFD/ICP app to control Falcon BMS from touch devices
@oakdesign said in New free MFD/ICP app to control Falcon BMS from touch devices:
The way I understand your setup with a laptop and multiple screens you might be better to go the Helios route. By using a tablet as a secondary monitor you can put stuff like the ICP to a “touch” tablet acting as a touch monitor I explained that method for both android and apple IOS devices in depth here. Even so the video is 3 years old the method is still valid
Zzzzzzzzzingt! That’s an excellent idea, really like the idea of extracting the ICP panel to my tablet, and a few other extras like the HSI. What a great project to work on cheers!

RE: New free MFD/ICP app to control Falcon BMS from touch devices
@Apolo27 Yes thanks for the help, it works fine on my laptop but I should have read all the previous posts on this thread. Its really designed for WiFi “touch” devices therefore I can see why it automatically expands to full screen now. It was the ICP that I was mostly interested in, the MFD’s I can already extract.

RE: New free MFD/ICP app to control Falcon BMS from touch devices
@Apolo27 Thanks for the hints, so here’s where I’m at.
I’ve managed to get this app running on my laptop which is a great start. Start the server, Start up Falcon BMS, spawn into the pit, Start up the App (on the Laptop) and it displays the data from the MFD’s in BMS.
All good so far - except the app fills my main monitor and obscures Falcon BMS. There does not appear to be a resizing option unless I’m looking in the wrong place. I would like to move the ICP, and MFDs down to my laptop’s screen. It would be nice to be able to drag the app onto that screen if possible. Any thoughts?
Didn’t get the tablet going yet but I’m working on this problem first.
