RE: FPS DROP IN THE NEW FALCON BMS 4.36
@Seifer Much better for me. I used to see a significant drop in my FPS after landing at Gunsan on RWY 36. My FPS was good until I turn off the end of the runway (18), heading to the ramp. That’s when my FPS would drop from 60 to around 27-30 FPS. Now I do not see any significant drop in FPS. It right around 57 to 60. (Please note: I have purposely set my Max Frame Rate = 60 FPS in the NVIDIA Control Panel. It keeps my graphics card cooler and the sim works perfectly for me).

RE: Falcon BMS - Interactive Maps
@jayb The interactive map on Google Chrome automatically pans to any of the air bases I select. The base selected ends up centered on the map.

RE: U3 performance issues
Just an observation. In reference to the screenshots for the NVIDIA Control Panel. I noticed setting are being done from the “Global Settings” tab. I believe it would be best to use the NVIDIA “Program Settings” tab so you can specifically target BMS to use your NVIDIA setting automatically on startup.
Select a program to customize: C:\Falcon BMS 4.35\Bin\x64\Falcon BMS.exe

RE: Delanclip/Opentrack users
@drillerman52 According to the github website, any camera that can achieve at least 30fps and 480p will do the job fine. What I found is AITrack operates best when your face has light on it. It’s kind of the opposite of TrackIR which operates better in low light situations. AITrack works in conjunction with Opentrack. Just Google “Guide to AITrack and OpenTracker”. It is written by a guy named Lars Bodin. When I first tried AITrack, I could not get it to work and gave up. I still wanted to get rid of the hot headset so I tried it again and stuck with it until I learned the ins and outs of using it. Like I said, I love it. I won’t go back to TrackIR.

Thanks for the update. Just don’t see how it could get any better than it is now.

RE: Screenshot questions etc.
I can help you with removing the screenshot overlays. Just add this line to your Falcon BMS User.cfg file.
set g_bPrettyScreenShot 1 // If set, PrtScr key will make pretty screenshots (no overlays) instead of normal ones (1=pretty, 0=normal)Maybe someone else can help you with your other questions.

RE: 10k or 100k potentiometer
@igorry The main difference between using a 10K versus a 100K pot is the current draw. The 100K Ohm pot will draw less current from your power supply. I would recommend the 100Ks. I use 100K pots in my home built TQS for the Radar Range and Antenna Elevation axis. They work great. Hope this helps you decide.

RE: 4.37 is released
Thank you for 4.37. Never used the Alternate Launcher until now. Made it very easy to setup my controls. Probably should have tried it earlier. I am not using VR so can’t comment on that. I use AITrack with opentrack and it works fine for me. Thank you again Devs for the update.

RE: MidEast theater (128 segments) for 4.36 u3
@Alfred I have blocked four sounds in Korea (KTO). I just did not care for them. The files I blocked are in the directory “C:\Falcon BMS 4.36\Data\Sounds\Common”. The files I blocked were; “Airflow.ogg”, “AirflowCanopy.ogg”, “Wind.ogg” and WindInCkpt.ogg". Not sure which one you want to disable. I think it may be one of these four. You could try one at a time. What I did to disable them was to rename them to: “BLOCKEDAirflow.ogg”, “BLOCKEDAirflowCanopy.ogg”, “BLOCKEDWind.ogg” and BLOCKEDWindInCkpt.ogg". That way the files are still there. If you decide later you want to enable them again, just rename them (again) by removing the prefix BLOCKED. It’s probably not a bad idea to backup any file(s) before you make changes to them. Hope this helps.
