Thank you for your efforts. I tried, but it can’t be done, because the only way in which I can extract the relevant file is through the setup program. It’s all good, though, there doesn’t seem to be an issue other than the original screen. The question is, what will happen when the next update appears. I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it, as the saying goes.

RE: 4.34 u3 installed, yet I still get 4.34 u2 build 20805
Thanks again for the reply.
I can’t uninstall the 4.34.3 bit (it won’t allow me to in any way). It recongizes 4.34, and all three Us (U1 U2 U3) as downloaded and installed, and the only option available is to go back, from that point.
So far I’ve only played a few dogfights, with zero problems. :).

It’s the Falcon BMS setup (4.34). It detects 4.34.3 as installed.

Thanks, yes, I ran the setup.exe and the U3 certainly shows up in currently installed.
Here’s what I have: -
4.34 u3 installed, yet I still get 4.34 u2 build 20805
The manager recognized the U3 as installed, yet when I start the game I still get the U2 built information.
Has this happened to anyone else? Is this normal? Thanks in advance for any reply.

Thrustmaster T Flight Hotas X RZ axis too jumpy
Hello everyone, and have a happy new year!
Apparently, my T Flight hotas X has a problem, as the RZ axis seems to get jumpy even when my hand is near the stick. I am assuming that the potensiometers that control the movement when I twist the stick must have a problem. Twisting the stick clockwise doesn’t do much (There is a slight movement on the relevant RZ axis), but merely having my hand touch the stick sends the movement on huge random movements.
If there is anyone who is somewhat knowledgeable with the specific stick, and could tell me whether I could, say clean the relevant potentiometers (and how to get to them), I would really appreciate it.
I am aware that I can use a screw to disable the twisting movement of the stick, but that doesn’t help as the RZ axis will make spasmodic movements anyway, when I handle the stick. Thanks in advance for any information!

RE: Maverick Crosshair blinking and blinking
Thank you all for your answers. The “zooming in” information did it for me. It really made the crosshairs stop blinking. Have a happy new year, guys!

RE: Maverick Crosshair blinking and blinking
Again, so much information I was unaware of. It seems that my decision to register was good.
Indeed, I seem to be coming from quite high when attacking, as I try to be off the range of flak etc. Furthermore, I was completely unaware of the NFOV engagement. Will try all that first chance I get! -
Maverick Crosshair blinking and blinking
An issue with the mavericks I’ve been having is that they keep blinking (ie they have no lock) until it’s too late (ie I get too close and am rewarded with a SAM). I know about the “keyhole”, but it doesn’t seem to do help that I keep the blinking crosshair in the (imaginary) keyhole, it still keeps blinking. I was told that keeping the wings level helps, but as I approach it’s very difficult to do so. Any advice? Maverick locking seems to be very haphazard, sometimes you get solid crosshairs immediately, sometimes you have to wait indefinitely.
Thanks in advance for any advice! -
