I’m having this very same problem. Launcher.exe works fine, but when I click the Launch button, the initial splash screen appears and the sim just freezes there. Task Manager indicates “FalconBMS.exe” as “not responding”, with RAM usage at 250~300 MB, no CPU or Disk usage for its task. Windows does not return me the “Falcon BMS has stopped working” window. It just freezes ang goes nowhere.
I’ve tried reinstalling the BMS 4.34, no luck. There’s no dx9display.dsp anywhere on the folders.
I have no idea where I can get the Crash Log file to post here…
Also, I haven’t played BMS in quite a while, but having Eagle Dynamics just released its DCS F-16 Viper Module, it made me want to go back in the BMS for a warm up. For no joy. I was able to play the 4.34 before that, so I haven’t messed with the Installation folders structure ever since.

PSU: 750 Watt OCZ Fty semi-modular power supply
Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit, updated to last version (I’m suspicious it might have something to do with the windows update, as I’ve had other strange issues with other applications recently).
