      Let me start with my background. I’m 57, played Falcon on an Amiga originally, bought Falcon 4.0 hard cover original game and played it for a long, long time, took a long break and picked up again when AF was issued and then BMS. Started getting into some MP (even though my internet connection at that time sucked) and had a blast and got away from the game for the past 5 years or so. I have a TM Warthog joystick/throttle and Saitek rudder pedals and two, 32" monitors. I also would like a good TM profile link.

      With that all out of the way, here is my quandry. I’m a bit overwhelmed in where/how to start back playing? There are literally thousands of threads here and I guess I’m looking for some advice on how to get started again? I tried to do a ramp start the other day and just got frustrated. Could someone recommend a good, step by step approach to get started again? There are LOTS of youtube tutorials, some old, some new, but do you have a recommendation on which might help me get started? Thanks in advance.

      @Tumbler31 Ya, this isn’t my first rodeo lol (57 year old gamer) and it could be easier and more intuitive, or idiot proof as I call it lol. Once I followed the direction verbatim, it was no issue. To be fair, I have installed a lot of games directly from my unzip program and have just gotten used to doing it that way, but BMS doesn’t like that at all. Been a long time (I think since 4.34) since I’ve played so relearning nearly everything…Ramp start here I come.

      @FALCAS-0 I screwed up my install of the U1 as well by trying to install it without unzipping it first. Make sure you unzip to a file, then start the setup.

      @Tumbler31 Ok figured it out. I was installing inside of my zip program rather than unzipping it first. Once I did that and followed the direction EXACTLY, it worked fine. Sorry for the wild goose chase.

      @Tumbler31 Ok I think I see a problem. There is no setup.exe in the my setup folder. All I have is a data folder.

      @MaxWaldorf I did. It works without hyperthreading…I was testing to see if patch fixed it.

      @Tumbler31 Applied U1 and still have the same issue…was hoping U1 was going to fix it but unless I did something wrong it appears the problem still is there.
