RE: Radio Chart Edition Web Interface
Adding additional theater applies the same basic setup:
[“Airport ID”, “Airport name”, “Tower Freq”, “ILS”, “Runway”, “Elevation”, “GPS”]How about this, I’ll fully re-integrate a XML or JSON system if I actually see the need of it (More and more users uses the idea and system).
Keep in mind, this is a side project which is contributed by public also as it has been updated four times nearly just due of public contribution. Also:
Searching for airports inside the system has made available by Verox; Download the latest merge and you should have that option. -
RE: Radio Chart Edition Web Interface
You are aware if it’s an array it’s a straight JS array, and has nothing to do with jQuery, aren’t you? And that parsing a JSON Data Object in Javascript is going to be faster then parsing a JS array for a single response?
Yet utilize JSON requires PHP fully which the goal of this system isn’t, just stay HTML so users can have this downloaded on his desktop and click on the html

RE: Radio Chart Edition Web Interface
Do you mean JSON? jQuery is not a storage system.
You are aware that even if its an array it is stored data??
But yes JSON is a option I look into, just won’t focus on it until I see there’s a big need for a system like this -
RE: Radio Chart Edition Web Interface
You should put it in a SQL database with locations so you can also say, “give me all airfields 30 Nm from osan”
Hi,
This can easily be achieved without SQL, its just pure algorithms that can be done through jQuery also.Note ->
New merges has been done due of Verox amazing updates to the interface itself.
Also if you want to put this online, go ahead just share the link with others.

RE: Radio Chart Edition Web Interface
Hi Oldgiat5,
Thanks for the data! I am debating if I should make a version where the data is stored in XML or just pure jQuery.
If there’s a high interest, I have a goal to make a online edition where standard base of data exist and that you can import your own chart through xml or excel and its stored and displayed for you and everyone if the data is valid and approved.(The data provided from you, I will take my time tomorrow adding it in)
EDIT:
Also people, please contribute data if you do put it inside the file, I like info being open and share! If I find it valid and working I will commit and add it in, also giving you creds for it! -
Radio Chart Edition Web Interface
Radio Chart Edition Web Interface (RCEWI)
This system is purely just clean HTML with javascript to offer you the simplicity of having a offline editor with radio charts of airports in korea map (If you want other airfields such for other themes, feel free to add them yourself). The template is designed to fit phones such as androids and IOS if you decide to host it on your own webserver. (If you want to host this online, please contact me on BMS forums under Alwandy).Download and webpage:
