RE: Gibraltar_WDP_Airports new database for 4.37.7.0
@Kiwi Hello, we plan to add a fix in the next theater update to make so that the WDP is available and operational for everyone, but we cannot appropriate anyone’s work, and without the permission from @101-Spyder and his team we cannot add their excellent work to the theater and add that fix for the WDP.
In any case, with the information that @Tomcattwo has given you, it should work without any problem.

RE: Gibraltar_WDP_Airports new database for 4.37.7.0
@Kiwi In the WPD database folder, in addition to the file you put with the airports, you need 3 or 4 more files, including the map of Gibraltar so that WDP recognizes the theater.

RE: Unwanted vibration on unused controller
@Alban-Tinelli It’s better not to anger your wife… I can give you a couple of easy, practical and cheap options… 1° Buy a USB Hub with an on/off switch for the desired port, or 2° buy a controller on AliExpress compatible with Windows where you can deactivate the controller’s vibration from the controller itself… I have both options, 7 euros for the hub and 20 for the controller, and that controller works better on PC than the Xbox controller itself, wired, wireless, integrated lithium battery and bluetooth… I hope I’ve helped you, regards.
@Alban-Tinelli said
The “set g_bVibrateXInput 0” did the job.
Thanks again.Edit…Sorry, I hadn’t seen the solution, even better… even cheaper.

RE: Unwanted vibration on unused controller
I like the controller to vibrate, I don’t have force feedback on the hotas, the sound of that rattling on the table seems quite immersive to me xD

RE: Grumman F-14A block 75/95/110/135
@Radium Thank you very much for this magnificent F-14 that you give to the community and also, thanks to you work and the Devs “Iceman” will have a well-deserved tribute at FalconBms
-
RE: Grumman F-14A block 75/95/110/135
@Radium I think Iceman deserves to break that rule. Maybe the Devs can make an exception in this case… I personally would like to.
Most of us became passionate about aviation after watching Top Gun. -

RE: Falcon BMS Traducido al Español...Falcon BMS Translated into Spanish
Wow!! I hadn’t thought of that… the Gibraltar theatre has a language change, also done by maru… and there you can do it… here at the moment you can’t, so you have to save a copy of the files in English (Here the donkey only walks forward xDD)… Summary, it is installed with the executable and it is uninstalled manually replacing the translated files with the originals… Thanks for the comment and we will work on it.

RE: Falcon BMS Traducido al Español...Falcon BMS Translated into Spanish
Now, thanks to Maru, we have an executable that installs the mod in all available theaters. It’s no longer necessary to install the files separately, saving time and simplifying the process.
In the DropBox folder, you’ll find the zip file with the executable, as well as the individual files, in case you want to explore them.
Thank you so much for this, Maru. -
RE: BMS Re-Install - Is an Alternative Launcher Keymapping Restore Possible?
@Icarus said in BMS Re-Install - Is an Alternative Launcher Keymapping Restore Possible?:
@Apolo27 axismapping.dat and all the Setup xml’s.
@Slick8791-0 Please follow Icarus’s advice.

RE: BMS Re-Install - Is an Alternative Launcher Keymapping Restore Possible?
@Icarus Hi, I’m not at home and I don’t remember exactly what the name of the file my colleague is looking for is… if he has a backup of the config folder, he can continue working from there… it’s something.
Anyway, thanks for the note, I’m not an expert or anything like that.
Greetings -
RE: BMS Re-Install - Is an Alternative Launcher Keymapping Restore Possible?
@Slick8791-0 I don’t remember the name of the specific file, but if you copy the config folder and paste it into the new installation it would be enough, if you have screens for the mfd copy the tools/RTTRemote folder

RE: Falcon BMS Traducido al Español...Falcon BMS Translated into Spanish
@Carbide I wasn’t referring to Max, he defends that English should be spoken in this forum and I totally agree with him…in my previous post I specify who I am referring to.

RE: Falcon BMS Traducido al Español...Falcon BMS Translated into Spanish
@Stuntman Hello, opinions like yours that are expressed with respect are always welcome.
The language of aviation is English and I have no problem with it… With this mod I’m just trying to help those who don’t speak English. They don’t understand communications, they don’t know what they have to do in a mission, they don’t understand AWACS texts and they don’t know where the bandits are… They don’t understand ATC and when they have permission to take off or land.
Imagine if Falcon were entirely in Chinese or Japanese, you wouldn’t understand anything at all.This mod doesn’t force anyone to have the simulator in Spanish. Anyone who wants to fly in the default language is within their rights, and I think that’s great. The question is, why isn’t it equally acceptable for many people to have the simulator in their native language and communicate however they want? What’s the problem?
In these two years, I’ve received hate, even insulted by people from my own country (Spain) for making this mod, as if it were sacrilege or something similar. My only intention here is to help, not to force anyone.

RE: Falcon BMS Traducido al Español...Falcon BMS Translated into Spanish
Thank you so much for the support, guys. Since I started the project almost two years ago, I’ve only had problems with the “English-speaking purists” who see this mod as an insult. Here, we’ve achieved something that no one has done in 25 years: translating the simulator into Spanish. So, I sincerely appreciate your words of gratitude.
(English-speaking purists = people from any country of origin who maintain that cockpit communications should be conducted in English (the official language of aviation))

RE: Falcon BMS Traducido al Español...Falcon BMS Translated into Spanish
@MaxWaldorf Hello, this is a mod designed for people who don’t speak English. If I wrote the instructions in English, they obviously wouldn’t understand them (remember, they don’t know English). Even so, they are written in both languages.

RE: Feed back when captiveTGM65G hits target
@Stevie I think there is some kind of misunderstanding in this conversation, I’m trying to explain something to the thread creator, not to you… I don’t know what you do in your free time, it’s none of my business. The thread creator asked a question and I tried to answer him with my amateur knowledge as an average user… don’t be offended, I don’t know why you talk to me like that, I didn’t ask any questions, I didn’t question your work or your knowledge, or your ideas, or the time you spend doing your things. I just gave an answer to a user, nothing more… English is not my native language, maybe I expressed myself badly.But forget it, it doesn’t matter.
Edit. Ok, I’ve checked my message, when I wrote that I wanted to give a vague idea of the work that this task entailed, I wasn’t referring to you, I was referring to the creator of the thread. I’m fed up with fucking English and this fucking shit of misunderstandings.
Every time I try to help a user, it always ends up offending someone else.
