My view rolling in to take out a runway.
And the aftermath on egress.

RE: Best munitions for runways
Maybe they meant the SMS page in the Dash 1, page 81.
 Whoops! Thanks for that. Not quite sure how I missed that, been searching for it for ages.
On a positive note, I just put this into practice and made a succesful attack using a fast low pass on a runway. Had a truly epic moment where as I rolled in at around 3 miles out at 1000ft to line up with the runway, I could see the explosions in front of me from the SEAD package’s bombs hitting the air defenses! I love this sim! -
RE: Best munitions for runways
Ok think I have worked this out now by experimenting with the CNTL page on the MFD when BLU are active weapon. Although I still can’t find anything in the manuals about this!
Cheers. -
RE: Best munitions for runways
RTFM
Yeah guess I was asking for that! Just a hint as to where I could find it in the manual would be good. Spent quite a bit of time on this sim and reading manuals and genuinely not seen a procedure for this munition.

RE: Best munitions for runways
did you set your arming delay correctly? If they’re not armed, nothing will explode (except your temper )
Ahh, must have missed something here. Never used them before. Any pointers to the procedure?

Best munitions for runways
So what bombs do people generally use for hitting runways? I just tried using blu107s, got all direct on the runway with a low pass using CCIP but no damage? I thought that was their purpose but is there something better and more effective?

Are you on the WPN page and have you uncaged?

RE: CPU choice - what to get?
For what it’s worth, I can speak from experience. I had a similar mobo/cpu setup to you and today received my new rig with a z170 mobo and an i5 6600. The difference is beyond expectations. These new Skylake CPUs really are something.
