RE: Seat height and HUD position in VR
The problem is that I have a 100% full real cockpit and, in order to easily actuate the switches on side consoles, I need to have the projected pit in the same position of the real one.
My real seat isn’t movable and it is in the lowest position, with sides very close to the lateral panels surface, so I also need to move the VR cockpit seat in a lower position. The first problem I see is that, using the adjust seat switch, I just lower the view point and not the seat and the effect is as I move my head close to my knees.
Moreover, doing so, I can just see the upper half of the Hud projected on the glass as the lower half goes outside the hud screen. What I’m trying to understand is if this situation is a BMS issue or if it is like so also in reality.

Seat height and HUD position in VR
In 4.37.2 update I can finally adjust the seat height in VR but I have problems with hud projection.
As I lower the seat in fact, the hud projection also goes down and I just can see the upper half of it.
I don’t know if this is correct or if it is a issue but it makes very difficult to see the hud with a lower seat position. -
Changing seat high
First of all, great job with the VR, I’m really enjoying it.
I have a little issue that I hope you can resolve to make VR even more immersive.I fly with a full cockpit and, in order to easily use it with VR, I need my seat position perfectly collimate the one in game.
Unfortunately the seat position in game is higher than my real one.
Just to explain, my Aces II side panels are leveled with the back of Lightning Panel while the seat in game is around 5 cm higher in that position.
That makes really difficult reaching the right switch with VR on.Even if there is a seat switch on the right sidewall, it actually doesn’t move the seat position up and down.
Couldn’t be possible have that switch also moving the physical position of the seat in 3d world? -

RE: Have to reset/calibrate all my axisses and knobs whenever I go out of pit
@airtex2019 not the throttle.
I have a full pit and some radio axes are reversed and also I need to add sone dead zone to my rudder pedals… -
RE: Have to reset/calibrate all my axisses and knobs whenever I go out of pit
The problem is that the new launcher missed the AB/Idle setting for the throttle and also the possibility to revert joystick axes or add dead zone.
So, using the new launcher I need to reset the AB/Idle position everytime… -
Avionics Configurator issue
Hello, I’m having trouble with the Avionics Configurator, or maybe I haven’t understand how it works…
I own a full f-16 pit built years ago based on the 52 block.
In the last releases of BMS they changed the Block 52 Aux Comm Panel for the new IFF Panel.
As I have in my pit the Aux Comm Panel, I tried to use the Avionics Configurator to have the game matching my real setup.
But even if I remove the flags from “Backup Tacan on MFD” and “IFF Backup M1 M3”, when I go into the pit I still see the new IFF panel.
That wasn’t a issue in the 4.36 version but with the new 4.37, as I want to fly in VR, I really need to have my pit matching the one in game, otherwise I have troubles finding the right switch by hand.
I’m making something wrong or what?
Thank you in advance for any help. -
Block 52 old AUX COMM panel
Hello,
I have a full wired cockpit made on the old Block 52 configuration.
In order to have my 3d pit corresponding to the real panels I have, I need to have the old AUX COMM panel with backup TACAN controls instead of the new IFF panel.
I have checked the Avionics configurator and I fInd two options that seems to do that: “Backup Tacan On MFD” and “IFF Backup M1 M3”.
I tried with both unchecked but the panel shown into 3D pit is still the new IFF panel. Is there a way to have the old panels as my F-16 wasn’t upgraded?

RE: DirectX stops working
…
Two other things stood out to me about the mission. I noted that the TGP when switched to, did not need to be switched to with the DMS down - it was already displaying the SOI border. This was in contrast to the behavior I was accustomed to, in 4.32. I also for the initial sortie, had a flashing FPM in the NAV mode. I was able to reproduce the flashing FPM in the second flight. Both times it happened several minutes prior to the TGP issue, and both times it was preceded by an inadverted pickle. For the second time, I was able to stop it flashing by changing master modes. I was not able to reproduce it consistently. I pressed the pickle three times in NAV mode on the second flight, and it only made the FPM flash on the second pickle. I was therefore not certain that the pickle was the cause of the flashing FPM. I understand that typically a flashing FPM indicates a weapon release condition, so I was surprised to see it in NAV mode.I will try to narrow down the exact series of steps I take to reproduce the issue. Has this behavior been seen before?
I’m having the same issues: the FPM starts flashing in NAV mode and the FCR switches to expanded mode by itself.
I have set the pinky magnitude to 0 but that doesn’t solve the problem.
I have also tried removing the pinky callback from my keyfile and still the FCR goes in expanded by itself (and I don’t have any possibility to return back to normal view having removed the callback…).
Has anybody found other solutions? -
FPM blinking
Today, during a flight my FPM started blinking in the middle of the HUD.
After that I tried several flights and in another two cases I had the same FPM blinks.
I have never seen that before and I don’t know how I made it blinking…
I have also checked on the manuals but I haven’t found any clue.
Could someone explain if is that normal, what I have done and how to revert to a steady FPM?
