Dunno how well the Phoenix is modeled but I do know a couple things. It’s a very fast missile when the motor is running around Mach 5 so yes it has legs. It’s not the best at Maneuvering. Getting down into the low alts will help get it to slow down in the thicker air. Cranking and turning cold and hot to bait the 14 is really your only option. She is also a very good Dogfighter even for it’s size. If you ever make it to a merge force 2 circle fights. In BVR try and switch him to be defensive. You can take long shots and if he ignores it you might get a kill.

RE: Which are by now the benefits of DX11
Not that there are any plans that I know of but it does make it VR compatible

RE: A Guide to Morphine’s Profile for BMS 4.33 and Beyond
Not to be a pest but your files are still showing 4.34. or am I missing something? Appreciate the support

RE: Morphine's Profile
I hope I haven’t messed up here but this updated profile still isn’t working correctly. China hat keeps putting my left MFD in to the Test page and the Mic Hat does all kinds of strange things.

RE: A Guide to Morphine’s Profile for BMS 4.33 and Beyond
Okay with the new changes to 4.34 it looks like this profile needs to be updated again. I will look at it and see what I can find but if you use any of the radios it gets pretty wonky fast

RE: AAR refuelling unnecesary
If you ever start to do deep strikes and configuration dependent you will need to do AAR. Just keep doing it til you get it down. Go between both the 135 and the KC10. They have a different sight picture

RE: Radio Transmiting
A long time ago calling in CAS pilots often double clicked the mike as a Roger specially in the Pop after we cleared them hot.

RE: 9M's launch envelope
Not sure of the actual limits but I usually shoot when we are both unloaded or I have good angles and speed on him.

RE: A10 to BMS transition
I run Morphine’s Target Profile. It translates really well from A-10

RE: The future of the sim..?
Agreed. A DX 11 update, though being a GFX code re-write, would be the best way to go. And, DX 12 has no major GFX enhancements from DX 11. It allows different GFX cards, with different instructions, to work with each other AFAIK. So, a DX 11 would be ideal IMO. But getting BMS to even DX 10 will be a big undertaking. I think this team is up for that. Time will tell.
IRC DX 12 allows for better CPU scaling as well as the number of objects and details can increase. I too would like to see BMS to go to DX 11 just for VR support if it’s possible. I would be great to see a commercial effort but I understand the IP issues. I’m sure most of us would be willing to pony up for a fully supported product. Heck I’ve already paid well over 200 bucks for BOS BOM and BOK.

RE: Morphine's Profile
I fixed the link above and will post here again too.
The script editor crashing ect, is a problem with windows. If u installed the newest version of target without uninstalling all of the thrustmaster software and drivers then windows will fail to re enumerate the joystick when the script stops. Even after the clean install, you must be sure to run target as an administrator. I’m pretty sure this was broken in the latest windows update. Are you running windows 10?
Profile for latest version of Target.
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/66rd8borl2zrfbd/AAAnvz5u93ebm0Tzh322Vw6ba?dl=0I have the exact same problem and yes I’m running Windows 10… Guess I’m going to have in uninstall everything and start over.

RE: TARGET Script Editor
I will give this a go. It could be interfering with other programs.

RE: TARGET Script Editor
That’s exactly right… It is the TmService that hangs… Wonder if we will get any sort of support out of TM on this. Perhaps open a ticket because I don’t think it’s a one off

TARGET Script Editor
Hi Gents,
Wondering if anyone else is experiencing a problem with the TARGET Script Editor. I use it with my Warthog Loading up Morphine’s profile. It runs the script fine and it stops the script but I do find it hangs the editor. Does anyone else have this problem? V3.0.16.615 I think I have the latest. Perhaps a reinstall is in order but I don’t think so. What ends up happening is when I go to shut down the hung app won’t let Windows 10 shutdown. If I force a reboot I lose my Stick which I just reinstall the driver and it’s fixed again. The big problem is that it will blow out my DX settings for other sims like DCS etc.

RE: Ff you could have one thing in the next update it would be…
Clod is also DX 10 soon to move to DX 11 which I would love to see BMS move to at some point. I would love to have VR support and some candy and hookers while you’re at it. jk

RE: Still a little confuse on BMS versions and updates
I heard a rumor that 4.34 will have an update for its version number and nobody will confuse “I have installed update 2 but I still see update 1 launcher, have I installed correctly?” anymore…
You have to update in order… The Launcher number was not renamed. You can see the version in your splash screen to make sure you are on the right version

RE: Morphine's Profile
Okay makes sense… Was having some issues but I think it was Windows 10 and USB being weird as usual

RE: Morphine's Profile
I get the following message when I run the scrip in the editor. I don’t remember seeing this before. Is this something new? It does appear the script is running okay.
