      Deny Flight Two

      • Deny Flight Two takes about 20 to 30 campaign days to complete. Depending on User Control Interface and ground troop movement.
      • In order for Blue to win the Deny Flight Two campaign, they have to take Zagreb, Zadar, Banja Luka, Split, Mostar, Tuzla, Osijek, Sarajevo, Bihac and Gornji Vakuf.

      Serbian Annex

      The Campaigns can be controlled by the AI but it adds to the fun if the player/commander has a little bit of control over which PAKs need to be addressed and which ground troops need to move to control an objective. Also it is not guaranteed that the ground troops will make it to all objectives to win the campaign so player/commander intervention might be helpful. Remember it is a dynamic campaign so just because something happened when you played it a day ago, week, month, however long you want to look at it, doesn’t mean it is how it is going to be again.This campaign does not alter anything in the main BMS install. It adds another folder to the Data folder within your BMS install call Add-On Balkans and it takes everything from that. I made it that way on purpose so it didn’t overwrite anything on the main BMS install for those who want to keep their BMS install standard, but kept everything standard on the Balkans campaign.

      HOW TO INSTALL

      • After you download it to your desktop, extract the Balkans_Theater_4.36.3.zip to your desktop
      • Run the Balkans_Theater_4.36.3.exe
      • Follow the install instructions…It should automatically find the path of BMS for you

      Once you have finished the install process, open up Falcon and switch to the Balkans theater in your Theater list. After it switches to the Balkans theater, close Falcon and Re-Open it to give it a fresh start in the Balkans theater.

      To Uninstall the Balkans Theater, go to your Falcon BMS 4.36/Data/Add-On Balkans folder and double click the uninstaller (see image below) located at the bottom of that link. You do not need to edit the theater.lst file. It will do that automatically.

      Here is a change log of fixes and additions

      • Fixed HUD texture (green circle) very subtle and square shape.
        in RL circle area is at the inifinity but in BMS its on HUD glass and working like the gun rear sight. Which is unrealistic and also makes F-15 range texts un-readable and I had to offset them from the correct places. Not only bad for F-15 but F-16 hud works like having rear sight is weird too. This texture has to be just a subtle square area and not a green circle.

      The first thing you need to do is install the JSGME software which can be found in the Jan Has pack downloads or the link below. Follow the instructions at the link below how to setup JSGME.

      The 56th Virtual Fighter Wing has merged with the 1st Virtual Strike Command. This is to provide a variety of flight sim enthusasim between BMS and DCS.

      We are a North American based unit with an Air Force Wing flying DCS and BMS and Navy Carrier Air Wing flying DCS. Our main squadrons fly F-16C, F/A-18C, F-15E, F-14B, A-10C II, and AV-8B.

      The 56th Virtual Fighter Wing still flies BMS while the 1st VFW and VCW-3 fly DCS.

      Current members are mostly highly experienced aviation professionals. Including airline pilots, former miliary pilots, military powerplant techs, private pilots and general enthusiasts. This does not mean you have to be an aviation professional to join. All we ask is you are a mature adult with a passion for virtual air combat.

      You will find a wealth of knowledge within this group that you can benefit from:

      • Real world Airline Transport Pilots and Flight Instructors

      • Retired Military Officers and NCOs

      • Air Force powerplant tech

      • Simpit builders with experience in design, CNC, 3d printing, electronics, coding, and more.

      • Graphics designers who make our unit liveries (your custom unit livery is a reward)

      • Long time air combat simmers going back to Falcon 3.0 in the early 1990’s

      Schedules are flexible. Team missions are usual flown weekly, as well as training nights. Members frequently PM the group for short notice sessions at all hours of the day.

      When you save a mission with Mission Commander the skin sets on the aircraft get messed up. Meaning that the tails on the aircraft do not correspond to the correct squadrons assigned in campaign. I have already told this to Falcas

      The normal SaveX.cam file sets the skin sets correctly, but as soon as a saved campaign file is created…SaveX XXXXXXX.cam any new flights get assigned with the first tail in the skin set. For example…the 14th FS at Kimpo should have the 14th WW Tail…once a mission is saved with Mission Commander that tail will change to the Duluth tail for any new flights created. This happens to all other squadrons at the same time. They all divert to the first tail in the skin set. Block 40s go from WP or OS tails to AV tails.

    • Balkans Movies from Allied Force into BMS?

      I am trying to figure out how to do movies in the Balkans theater such as: NATO wins, FRY wins, etc.

      Does anyone who played Allied Force remember if there were movies that went with the Balkans campaigns? I would like to add movies to the theater so you know when the campaign is over, stalemate, or timed out. I am not really sure where to start with making my own. For 6 campaigns, that would require over 25 movies.

    • Help wanted for Balkans theater 4.38….need airbases

      Looking for help with building airbases for the Balkans. Jedi has really done a wonderful job so far. Looking for someone to help him out. If I knew how to build airbases, I would but unfortunately I do not right now. If anyone is willing to help, it would be greatly appreciated.

      At minimum we need taxiways, runways and airfield lights for all of the generic airbases in the Balkans.

      I will put a comprehensive list together later today.

      If anyone has any 3D modeling skills and wants to take the time, it would be a great help. The only other thing I ask is when the base is finished, if we could also get the source files in case we have to make changes in the future

      @Sloth this has something to do with the heat blur. Turn off the heat blur in the config editor and see if the issue is still there.
