That’s your apex altitude or altitude at release. It displays your next altitude if you were to pull up (with the desired degrees displayed next to the range cue) so you could bring your a/c in range for an lofted shot.

If I understand correctly, as you are already in range, this altitude is the same as your current ASL one.
