Update…
Yesterday I went out and bought two new 1TB Western Digital Hard drives and installed them in my PC to replace the 128GB Samsung Pro SSD.
After installing the hard drives, I installed Windows 7 64 and ran all updates.
I also installed the most recent versions of ASUS Z97 A BIOS software on the motherboard and ASUS Radeon R9270X 2GB software and firmware on the GPU.
After that was all done, I downloaded Arty’s BMS 4.32 1-7 all in one installer from the forum. I unzipped the file to the desktop and restarted my computer after it was complete.
After the restart, I right clicked the Setup.exe in the Falcon BMS 4.32 folder on my desktop and changed the settings under the Compatibility tab to “Run this program as an administrator” and set the Compatibility Mode “Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows 7”.
I then ran the BMS 4.32 installer while having a set of headphones plugged into the headphone jack because I’ve heard that it can cause problems if you don’t install it with the something plugged into it.
After the install, I right clicked the BMS launcher on my desktop and changed the settings under the Compatibility tab to “Run this program as an administrator” and set the Compatibility Mode “Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows 7” and restarted my computer.
When I ran BMS I set up a new pilot in the logbook and configured the graphics to 1920X1080. I set the pilot settings to Ace and at this point, I feel this is a clean install.
So here we go, I’m going to run it and see what happens.
